Yeah your Story is really convincing but it isn´t the fact that I didn´t hear a Gunshot but that my game didn´t played a hit Sound or the short supressed "scream" a player does when hit. You could of course say well it was lag or its stupid to blame the rain (which sounds stupid to me too btw ;) ) but I could figure out what it could be and the only thing that changed during the last 2 minutes (the time my Character needed to get soaked) was the rain. Another fact that made me believe this was a dev Vid where the player broke his leg after being fully soaked (maybe I got this wrong too because I´m not a native English speaker and not always fully understand everything) but I explained it this way: Soaked has to have an effect on the Player like getting sick --> getting sick from getting wet wasn´t coded in the last update (0.36......) "so they use a placeholder" effect to test if getting soaked triggers the effect and then implement getting sick from temperature

1. I was not lagging sorry ninjaontour -.- 2. as we figured out before in this thread this has never occured at someone elses game so i just live with it and restart as long as this never happens to me again i consider this thread as closed thanks for the nice answers.

yeah but a bit unlikely to happen with 2 other Players on the Serverfar away from Spawn area I just will Bugreport this and hope that was the only time its happening to me

Sorry, I had to. OT: Hasn't happened to me and I've been in the rain a while, you might have been shot or something nope no shot or hit (was in 3rd person) just 5 sec after my clothes were soaked i started bleeding

hmm dunno i was running just affter I lost my assault vest to bad connection ^^ thougt:" whatever will run rest of the way to kamishovo through the Rain" Then I saw those Status (dunno the plural): you´re getting wet, Your Wet, Your clothes are Soaked (in red) I can feel blood dripping from my body (in red) and I was like umm what? no scream or shot and I was in 3rd person so noone could hit me from behind I just started Bleeding after my Clothes were soaked. Maybe I will report it as a Bug when I´m the only one :/

Ok I know its potentially just a Placeholder but seriously bleeding just because you´re wet makes it impossible to play while its raining (and I love the rain atmosphere) which is really sad :( So please bring out a Hotfix just so rain doesn´t kill you within 3 minutes.

Something my Buddy experienced: He was starving an searched Berenz for Food --> met an other Survivor with only a Shovel (He had a SKS) My Buddy tried to be nice greeted him and asked for Food They both hadn´t anything to eat so the coversation wath kind of useless and they both walked of 5 minutes later I hear my shouting and raging: DAMN IT YOU F**KER.... so what happened? well the Guy he met before knocked him out with a Shovel.

Not my first but surely my most tense encounters where: 1. on balota Airfield only a Crowbar suddenly a fully equiped guy with two prisoners came around the corner shots fell..... I sneak out of the building and see a dead body on the ground with an M4 lying beneat him As I wanted to pick it up the guy with his prisoners came up and I´m all like HELL NO THIS IS MY END.. Talking in direct friendly won´t attack you just wanted to pickup this gun and backpack ANd surprislingly he lets me take it and we split apart :) 2. running around shortly after I got said Gear from Balota teamed up with my buddy and we talked via skype while looting kamenka He wanted to search the Military Base at the North of Kamenka so we stared walking Suddenly he shouts out a warning theres a Guy with an Axe (my buddy only had an Axe too) we encountered him and started talking.. he seemed friendly and so where we so we teamed up and ran to the Base.. 3. In the base looting the Hospital when out of nowhere a guy rans by.. I equip my lowered M4 and push the Push to talk buttton but get interupted by shots from the forrest we retread deeper into the building and wait some more shots fell but none hit one of us. the I decide to climb on the roof secure the Area and let my mates evacuate over the Ladder on the Rooftop we never saw or heard the Guy who shot again then made our way to Zelenogorsk.

was it a guy with a broken leg? then it was my buddy who is new in Dayz spawned miles away from me and broke his leg cause he didn´t know even small flls are deadly ^^

Don´t see the Problem eiter.. I think every Dayz Player knows the feeling when suddenly out of nowhere an other Player approaches and you check: good Backpack, rifle in his hand, looks directly at you... what do you do? Had this Situation today when we (two buddies and me) searched a Hospital. Suddenly someone shots at us und I tried to reach the upper floor. Was alone up there and suddenly a Guy came around the Corner. After I shot him and let my Buddys loot him we discovered that he had no magazines for the M4 but just a single chambered Bullet and was strongly bleeding (even before I shoot him) he only was at the Hospital to find bandages and shelter but in this moment I just saw an armed Guy who doesn´t have anything to loose (cause he was already bleeding). Without the KoS the whole suspense would be taken out of the game.
