    I'd like to see players actually being the zombie... 

     

    Lets say you get infected, you can respawn a new character or play as an infected "thinking" zombie. But, what I'm thinking is that people can either choose to play a new char or the infected one until killed by a player. This would allow dayz players to have access to two characters on a server and allow people a different perspective on survival... as a zombie, needing to "feed" or "kill" their non-infected brothers. :P

     

    Just an idea on more player options...

    If you want pistol mags, check the firehouses.. there are usually 1-5 inside and on the roof.. depending on if its been looted or not.

     

    I think it isn't about the rarity as much as it is about being late to loot it. Go up North and see the plentiful harvest you can collect.

    Well, even after saying I will shoot people with gun... I couldn't, lol. I'm guessing my post came down to me being angry from a KoS after hours of solitude up north.

     

    But, I gave 3 pistols with 2 mags each to bambis in electra last night after three heavily armed bandits were running around shooting everyone. I actually killed one with a shovel (all I had atm), took his gun, and killed the other two. Ahhh, Felt good... :)

    It's sad to say, but I'm just starting to think that KoS is the only viable solution to survival in this game. I run around, get the best loot possible, then turn into a free loot depository because I naively think that players aren't going to kill me instantly when I try to communicate/run into them. I know I can run with a group, friends, be a hermit, or avoid players... but with all those in mind, it turns into a frag fest in the end (which has happened with all).

     

    I didn't play the mod, but I'm curious if it was like this... Just the rampant slaughter of each other pre/post game??

    P.S. I'm not hating on the game, just curious on the thoughts of others who try not to KoS and how it's working for them. :P

    Hellos,

    Looking for someone relaxed, but excited about the game to Standalone with. Not a KoS type of person and love the communication that comes out of meeting some stranger on the road. I'm not the best player around, but not the worst. I can hold my own against 2 people in a gun fight and can eat some mad coke and beans. I understand the depth of this game and am excited about upcoming additions to make it better.

     

    I'm almost 30 and live in the Dallas, TX area. I'm a veteran gamer that would prefer someone that is 18++ and has the same personality... but just as relaxed and cool until some sh** hits the fan. I would even go as far to say a group or clan/organization, if you would have me. I'm excited about this game and don't want to get burnt out because I truly am a "standalone" player against the "stand together" types.

    I was wondering if this is an issue or just normal behavior.

     

    I was walking around the air field last night, got punched twice by another player, and was knocked unconscious. I was full on food/water and wasn't sick. I was even afk for 5 minutes prior (in case stamina is an issue?). But still, he ran up behind me, clocked me twice, and I was under. I assumed it was a weapon, but him and his buddy quickly screamed over the mic that I got knocked the Fugg out, lol. 

     

    Any help or understanding on this would be much appreciated and I love the game so far!! :D
