same problem, thought it had something to-do with my ports, but didn't work.

This issue is with PMC, this is Private Military Company, maybe you do not have this expansion installed or haven't switched this on, try to add this in your launcher file or when launching from steam with the following code " -mod=Expansion/(Name of the Private Military Company folder name) ".

@Tickle_Me_Jesus I have this bug as well, but words are that it is being fixed, so be patient You should try a DayZ Launcher or in your steam or self made launcher the following code " -mod=Expansion/beta -mod=beta "

Shouldn't effect your gameplay, but if it freezes maybe it has something to-do with something else. But still, this is in Alpha and be patient, maybe that helps

Can you tell me what expansions you see when starting up ArmA II? On the right side of the Main Menu is where you can find the working expansions.

Like mentions earlier, it looks like you are stuck in the so called "debug forest" this is a place where the developers of Bohemia Interactive tested some of the code and other stuff, I do not know why you are there but I have spawned there myself, try hitting "ESC" and respawn, maybe this will fix it. If not, try to download the newest beta-patch and if that doesn't work reinstall (or in your case (steam), redownload) the game. Good luck, and let me know if it works

Yes, I have the same problem as well, hope that this will get fixed very soon. Can still play on any other server, you can try to rename the beta folder in the expansions folder, and download the older version of the beta-patch, install it and see what happends. Great idea, really makes it more of a creepy gameplay but what is more awesome about it is finding yourself as a zombie after respawning!

I have the same problem , I hear people saying that it has something to do with the fact that it is a LAN server and will not always connect to the DayZ Database, maybe try the @hive mod?

I don't know, last time I checked you could only use sandbags on flat surface's.
