Hm... if you try to find friendly people, then you have to move inlands in the smaller towns. Elektro, Berezihno and all these big coastal towns are a pvp-desaster. The people are way more relaxeder in the countryside 8D

Regular and Hardcore are two different hives. The HC-Char isn't affecting the Regular-Char.

Im pretty sure, that DayZ doesn't need full 2mb/s. ...well..and I have to know, because I got way slower internet and don't struggle with DayZ's connection-efficiency.

Loads of them. But they take fire in most cases or get attacked by newspawns with crowbars, so they become triggerhappy. If I'll bump in you, I will treat you as an enemy as long as you've not proved me wrong. Don't like this, but this is the only way it works.

No bug. If one bullet is ruined, the whole stack will be shown as ruined, but some bullets are still pristine.

I think, it'd be a nice start, if you could sneak crouched. If I use crouch and shift, it's so loud, that I just prefer to walk normal.

Hey Guys, (This is about the latest stable) Has anyone else experienced a lot of crashes and freezes? In the first case, DayZ crashes without any warning to the desktop. Often in the mainmenu. In the second, your game crashes ingame. It seems to wipe the char sometimes. Sure it sucks, but I don't want to complain here. I'm more like confused, because i've never experienced crashes before and was surprised, how stable the alpha runs. The next mysterious point is, that the game crashes in the same time with the game of my friend, if we play together. We where in the same place, too. Could it be a missing texture or mesh? Is this bug a known one? Is it a real bug at all? And does anybody, if it will be fixed with the next experiemental? Because...let's be serious: Crashes are the worst could happen to DayZ.

Well, my PC is very stable and definitely not overused by DayZ. The PC of my friend, who experienced the crash at the same time is a brand new gaming PC. I've not changed anything of my system, since DayZ ran stable. The only thing I made, was turning off the mousesmoothing in the config to "0".

In my opinion, you shouldn't even be able to run all day.

I guess, the Craftingidea is okay. It'd be nice, if you'd find just incomplete or damaged weapons in most cases and have to fix them. But you can't really balance weapons. A magnum kills or "stops" with one shot to the chest. Why? Because it does! If you don't want a weapon, which got a really high stopping power, you are not allowed to implement them. But please, let the weapons stay realistic. It's a big core of this whole game. The problem of the mod, where on every server where 50 snipers with a AS50 waiting at the nwaf will be fixed with the hive-economy-system. On all official hives, there will be - for example - just two AS50's for all the players. Because it would be rare and should stay rare.

DayZ is the best example. In 99% of all cases you lose in, you were to hasty.

YES, add some gore! But they should be totally random, like "Ragdoll-NPCs", so you don't find the same guy in every house of the same type, like you find the bloodstains in every house of the same type.

New spawns should stay very neutral. So you can imagine for yourself, what your character used to be.

I love the "endgame", if you can call it like this. The moment, when i got my M4, but looking desperately for a SKS. You can replace the weapons as you want, Sure, I really like to meet people, on my way to the new shiny extraweapon.

Yeah, and fix the other stuff, because we don't want unfixed stuff, and we want the stuff you should put in the game, because of stuff n' stuff we like. Then fix it. But give final version please. Seriously: Your post has no point and "It's done, when it's done". Read the warning. Understand the warning. Uninstall. Wait for Beta or final. (Warning! Beta got bugs, no shit, sherlock.) Install. Enjoy.

Don't talk to people outside of your cover. It's that "easy". And no, there are no friednyl server without hoppers.

According to the latest devblog, there will be ragdolls for the items and this should be definitely possible... but I wouldn't know, how to place them on something :D

I like this idea and would even like to see some limitations due to pain. Because I can't imagine, that you sprint away silent, a few seconds, after you bandaged the new hole in your stomach.

I have a more basic question: Why the hell is nobody using the radio? ;( I haven't even recieved some statics. And... yes... indeed i put batteries in it ^_^

It wants to be a survivalgame, but I just run around for an hour and look like GI Joe. Yes, it IS too easy ;) Well... to be honest, I said the same about the mod. I want me to feel like god, just for holding this blaze in my hand, but I think, that this would take the fun for most people, because they couldn't pvp as easy as in ... well... a regular PC-Game.
