I think the M4 spawn rate dropped more than 50%... I went all up to Berezino, NEAF, all the towns between NEAF and NWAF, down to the Vybor military base, again up to the NWAF, nothing... not a single M4... i found many Magnums but no ammo.

Love all your ideas and I agree the more realistic and simulative the game is, the better gameplay we will have... but unfortunately we are talking about BI here... where they still cant manage preventing zeds to go through walls... -

If you spawn at Krutoy Cap you are basically at the same distance between Balota and NEAF. If you spawn at Kamyshovo you are closer to Balota and you have two big cities to loot on the way there. -

Well, there was a huge difference between spawning in the West or the East. The West had Balota AF, Pavlovo Military base, and Zelenogorsk was not far either. Plus Chernogorsk... If you spawned lets say at Krutoy Cap, you had a boring long walk to get a minimum of equipment. The problem now is everybody will follow the road through Elektro west or up north towards Berezino, still nobody will go inland... -
I was up there a couple of days ago, and there will definitely be a big city. I would say the size of Chernogorsk or even bigger.

Got fully geared, traveled up to NEAF and back to the mid coast, then my torch was glitched, game crashed 3 times, respawned with inventory wiped... Yay the pleasures of an Alpha testing...

I was exactly where you were at the Lopatino train station. Fully geared, finally I teamed with another player (met on the forum... not in game of course) and we traveled south to get into some action, we had some nice adventures on the road and now we are in Balota acting badass... Which will get boring very soon and we will probably do a new trip this time on the coast up to Guba (if we are still alive). -

It is a sandbox I agree, but it is also a zombie survival game... Killing fresh spawns on the coast doesn't give you any benefits towards the surviving so it should be limited (unless you are a psycho...) -
Mostly I get killed by server hoppers... No matter how long I check an area to make sure it is free, as soon as I start looting somebody pops up and kills me

Ex Soviet states were flooded with military equipment after the big red army was disbanded and made much smaller because of obvious budget cuts. I found NV equipment all over the former Warsaw Pact countries very cheap. Not all of it was in perfect conditions but most still working -
It is ridiculous... can openers are more rare than IV kits or M4s (by the way where are the AKs?) Can we fix this ASAP? Every household in RL has at least one can opener... here in Chernarus it seems everybody has IV kits Baseball bats? Seriously... in that part of the world they don't even know what Baseball is. Get rid of baseball bats ASAP (they are useless anyways) Eating: I keep eating cans and cans of food and never reach that full level when you are supposedly starting to regenerate... how much canned food a man can possibly eat? I hope these little things will be fixed really soon

I don't get what causes blurred vision, I don't have any messages, no status bar, just more and more blurred vision How do I get rid of it, what causes it? Any info about it? I really hate it, it is hurting my eyes... My eyes are tricked by the blurred image on the screen and are working to keep it in focus, that makes my eyes hurt (in RL...)
