Narkoman14: it's a bug. When you spawn there's an audio playing of a reloading gun. By clicking enter I meant from 1st to 3rd person. You spawn in 1st.

Hey guys! My character is 6-7 hours old. Stocked on everything except a descent Uk military vest. I was travelling in the north between Krasnostav and Grishino and i had to alt tab to check the map to get my bearings. My character was hungry, very hungry. When i came back after 2 minutes i was starving to death (in red) and now my screen is gray... Im trying to regain blood now but nevertheless: - The hunger mechanics are too fast dont you think? If you dont eat during 20-30 minutes you can die. Comon... And do someone knows how to use Saline? I have one with IV and one without. Can i administer it to myself? But how? Thx

Theres plenty of pistol magazines in firestations. For me the rarest type is the uk military vest.

Military camps. For example near Bolota. But... watch out ;) theres a sh(t ton of players there

Go find a town/city. Read the road sign and google it.

Just spam the pond. Drink drink drink. And you will be full. Just get out of Southern cities and collect on the way some descent clothes/bag for future loot.

Does the shotgun shells have a purpose in the game at the moment? Or its just useless because theres no shotgun...

Its true. The first hour is the most difficult. After you get a weapon and a can opener/screwdriver youre a God.

Well i always alt+tab outside of towns in bushes. To check with dayzdb maps. Ok now i understand. I should feed my character until he says hes full? Ill try that...

Yep barracks in Balota are a deathmatch. My friend hopped 5-10 servers being inside this camp and he geared up so much it was unbelievable. Scopes, pistols, all ammo, medkits etc. But he had to fight his way out.

Theres some medkits in normal house up north. I made thru from Elektro to the north airport but could you tell me where to find barracks? I have almost everything, only a bigger vest would be nice.

Grab in the hand and with mouse roll choose the option refill (it works for me near the water pomp)

Great topic :D My first and only encounter for the moment was during night time. I spawn on the beach near Cap golova. I see S*it only three buildings near a road. I go there and after 2 seconds i hear a "thump, thump"i look around and i see a guy trying to punch me :D. I ran into the woods :)

Hey. Im 25 yo. studies and job. I play sometimes during the day but also in the evening (on EU or US servers) Searching some players to team up in a 2-4 men squad and loot more efficiently. I speak French, English and Polish if you wonder. Its my first Dayz, never played mod but after watching a ton of youtube lets play i know how to survive. Cheers!

Hey guys! Im fairly new here. I was reading the forum a lot last year when i was watching dayz lets plays on youtube waiting for the standalone. Thats why now, after watching so many vids im not a "100%" noob. And know how to play. But... The lootable buildings. Sometimes I can play for one hour without finding any loot. When i see an open door to a house it instantly means - someone was here, dont waste your time. But some other time i can find good loot like weapons, cans etc. But could you tell me what can i expect raiding NORMAL buildings? I dont mean like police station/barracks/supermarket. I mean normal houses. Is there a chance to find a can opener in them or a flask? Or i have to raid a superstore? For the moment i found cloths and cans and rotten fruits in normal one story buildings. Thx!

The map is the same (roads) but the buildings in the cities and location of some military bases has change. :)

I know i dont need can opener. For the moment i use a knife. But its for another playthrough... The servers restart every 4 hours? Good to know... Is there a message in the chat box telling about the restart? And Tegla, I know to head North ;) Its the first thing i do. I open a chernarus+ map i look where i am and i head to a mid north town to resupply, then ->barracks -> airport -> City.

Yep. I cange server when i see that all the houses on my way north have wide open doors (means - theres nothing inside, someone already looted). I change server and i try to pick stuff.
