You guys must have missed my questions above so have to ask again :( How does Epi-pen affect healthy people? What if it's used multiple times on the same guy? And same questions for defibrillator.

I like the way your quick action bar looks. First there's melee weapon and guns, as usual. Then cuffs, okay. Then rotten fruit, disinfectant, epi-pen.... Gave me a good laugh even though I'm not a bandit or KoSer :D Edit: since you're doing medical experiments, how does the epi-pen affect healthy people? Does the effeects get worse if you use it multiple times? Edit2: what about the defibrillator? Is it's effects stronger?

I have survived 5 days now. I have basically the best gear you can find at the moment. M4 with acog, bipod and other stuff, ballistic helmet, best military clothes, ammo box full of ammo, protector case, all kinds of pills and medical items, saline bag etc. Only need to find a bulletproof vest and I'm all set. My next "mission" is to go in a big city to loot food and get out alive. Then I will read a book under a pine tree for some time. Then...? Maybe I go make some freshly spawned guy happy by giving him a magnum (without ammo) and stalk him to see how he behaves and shoot him if I don't like what I see :P Surviving in DayZ is like a bell curve; first you are willing to take risks since you don't have nothing to lose, then when you are just geared up you play it safe and finally when you want to create more content to yourself you start to take bigger and bigger risks until BANG! You are sick. A zombie has scratched and infected you. Even if your status shows healthy, you are in fact sick. It's a bug. Apply alcohol tincture at wounds and your sick -status shows up. Then you start healing.

Yes. You should be able to kill or at least make a healthy guy go unconscious with defibrillator...and then bring him back to life for another zap. Also, could someone tell me what use defib has in DayZ at the moment? Is it just a bigger version of epi-pen?

Yeah, these should be ingame. Easier to tell apart who is in your team and who's not. Fully geared army guys all look the same. If the team splits in a city, even for a moment, you don't know if the army guy who comes back is actually the same guy who just left :D

Gas station explosion... I was just installed Dyay and freshly spawned. I saw 2 guys at the gas station looking down on player corpses near a gas tank when it went BOOM! They died and I though that they somehow triggered it and ran to loot them. BOOM again and I was a corpse, too.

If a compass was used with 1 hand while the other held the weapon/item you were carrying, I would be happy. Current way feels a bit too slow, if you are holding another item.

I'm up for it as long as it's possible to disarm that bomb with right tools and bomb ingredients are rare.

I didn't even think about the lack of children before now. If they added children, it would make the zombies more creepy for me. That's all. I had skyrim mod, that enabled killing children. I didn't add it because I wanted to kill children, but because it bothered me that when I fought people in towns and threw spells around, children were inunjured while adults flied around.

Cannibalism may cause Kuru disease a.k.a. laughing disease a.k.a spongiform encephalopathy. symptoms are slurred speech, movement difficulties (shakes) and fits of laughter. Your brain dies cell by cell as prions eat it away so that it finally looks like a sponge. It takes 3 months to 2 years to die. Think twice before tasting "the long pig". Devs should put this disease ingame if they implement cannibalism. If you see a guy with shakes who laughs alone, you know what he did....

I like the ideas here. Hanging should be the first new rope feature to be added in DayZ :D

You can be friendly as long as you keep the helped guy at gunpoint. If you really want to see if some1 is friendly, then hide your good gear, drop a pistol and ammo nearby, team up with a bambi, let him find the pistol and see if you get shot on the back :D

Well, people can write racist stuff with pen and paper, too or say it aloud with mic. Can't really stop it. Timer is needed, though or buildings would become pretty colorful over time.

I circle Chernarus round and round and... I didn't know that you can actually read those books. I guess I will become the mythical book hermit living in the woods. They say that if you leave a book near Devil's Castle well during a full moon, it will vanish and there will be 5.56 rounds in it's place....

People like 3rd person because of fov, less motion sickness, game looks prettier, you can see your character and because it feels more realistic. My suggestion is that make 3rd person view only show you zombies, items and players that you would see on 1st person view. That way 3rd person players get ALL those benefits they want without having advantage over 1st person users. 3rd person view doesn't need to be removed and there's no need for separate servers. It just needs some tweaking to make it even more realistic. I cannot think a single good argument why you should be able to see behind corners magically in a realistic survival game that is DayZ. Personally, I don't even know what the 3rd person button is in DayZ. I haven't used it once and I'm not planning to. I like the thrill of not knowing if there's someone behind a corner. I bet it would be a thrill for 3rd person users, too.

Dangerous animals are yay, tentacle monster nay. If more monsters were added, next there would be a single crashed ufo with laser guns or maybe a lonely vampire that can turn you into vampire,too or maybe a swamp monster living in a swamp or possibly a witch living in a chicken leg cottage or...a werewolf? You would need silver m4 ammo to take it down. Zombies are enough.

1 hit K.O is possible, sure, but you have to hit temple or jaw pretty well so that the opponent's brain gets hit against the skull. I don't find it realistic that 1-2 hits to the face causes knockout every time. It should be more random as said above. You could argue that it's the armed guy's fault for standing still, but there's no ducking/dodging mechanic for hand-to-hand fights ingame, so I think the next best thing is to randomize k.o. chance...

Use well until your character says that his stomach feels full. Then you don't have to worry about water for a long time. Every village has a well near buildings. I only see thirsty message when I start near the coast. Then I just stuff myself with well water.

I was just spawned a minute ago and I see a guy with t-shirt and pants running towards me fists raised. So we have a little fist fight and I knock him down. We both lost health and if he had won he would have gained nothing. Honestly, I don't understand some people at all.
