KOS still here, don't see how it will go away

I don't think it was meant to go away. In fact... This game would likely be an abysmal failure if it was ever even remotely intended for KoS to "go away".

Is it possible to unbind Right click/aim

Ya I looked all through those controls last night and unbound everything with right click on it but my guy still zooms in when I right click. Am I overlooking something?
  4. Thanks for the offer. I wound up reinstalling windows 7 x64 last night and it worked. After two buggy Windows 7 x64 installs in a row I suspect that there is an issue with windows7 and the microsoft USB/DVD creator when making bootable windows 7 USB sticks. I used all the same stuff but created a DVD this time and everything went smooth.
  5. Is it possible to unbind right click to aim to make the game playable for those of us who don't use standard key bindings?
  6. Reinstalling now. I did try right clicking to launch to no avail.
  7. When I try to run dayz from teh steam directory as admin I get: So I went about trying to reinstall DX9 and 11 from Microsoft and it didn't do anything. So I downloaded a copy of the dll file from dll-files.com or some such place and it still didn't work.
  8. I don't see anything out of the ordinary and nothing that correlates to a recent attempt to launch the game.
  9. I've tried validating files, reinstalling directX and restarting. It doesn't even pop up in the list of process at all when I select to open it through steam.
