Ahh cmon, troll yourself. If you wanna tell me that an WWII rifle with a hard scope is a sniper rifle in todays time something is wrong. Its as if you call an Enfield with a scope a sniper, its not the same.

So whats the difference between an M24 and an AS50, the chances that you pass out and then bleed out after getting shot with an M24 is nearly the same as getting one hittet by an AS50/M107

I got killed at NWAF (i mean just died) then my DayZ closed and asked me to install the new update........ I dont really feel like walking up there again.

wikipedia said the m107 wouldnt even be accurate enough to kill someone at 1200m so if its built in correctly its not op. Now shut up.

Btw. for all the ones that say an AS50 wouldnt fit the setting, I remember this gun back in the days, I think it was called KsVK ;)

Thanks for not going totally retard like everybody else here, including me^^. Anyways its 4am here, I wanna sleep, so to conclude this, im fine with a .338 lapua, just something that can zoom, and dont come with your fake enfield with build on sniper scope. I guess .50 are retarded although I think with some adjustments they could be implemented into the game with it still being playable for everyone... other than that have a good one and gn8 :)

I dont want to talk bs now since i never fired a .50cal , but I could imagine once your on your target and you fire, the bullet will hit the target no matter how high your gun goes after firing.

never said it was the same, but an average person couldnt handle the recoil of a .50cal same as he couldnt handle the recoil of an m4.

Rocket launchers where in the mod, they where extreely rare and nobody used them cause they replaced your backpack which made them unpractical. So yea make the AS50 like that, ill be happy and the rest of you will be to cause the majority will not be using it since like said above its not practical.

It would be enough, but this is a game, not real life. I can give you enough reasons that would make the game in its current state look unrealistic as fck. Anyways ty for your informing answer, seriosly. :)

k, normal survivours have m4`s, complete military clothing, some non civilian pistol etc. etc. Ik its playing in russia, but still.

Also, people please stop comming with any reasons that are reality based like "your arms would fly off". This is a game, its about gameplay, im sure to a certain point its about reality, but its not all about that. IRL I dont need to eat every 5 minutes, altough im hoping that thats changing soon....

lol, not sure if serious or just trolling, the m4a1 - the first real gun in the game is fabricated in the us. or uk, i dont give a shit, atleast i can tell you its not russian. And now your trying to tell me its not getting added to the game cause its not russian? - Then dont go to elektro, idk why people always think elektro and cherno are the places to be. -No average person can controll the recoil of an m4 without training. -There is a difference between an APC and an AS50. Also it would maybe be an option to take out cars when they are released. (Considering their not going to start burning after 1 shot with the AS50).

To take out small groups or single enemys quickly without giving them a chance to react, atleast if you know how to handle it.

Also I had various fire fights in SA, against groups, against individuals, ive lost 1 - it was against a group of 3, i killed 2. Dont tell me I suck and need an AS50 to kill people.
