I've decided just to pay the extra and go through Steam. The only high res textures I'd be missing out on would be player models though right Castle ?

Hello guys, I own Operation Arrowhead and Arma 2 free but the problem with that is the low resolution textures which has lead me to want to by Arma 2 the original. Now what I'm wondering is, do I need to buy Arma 2 from Steam or can I get a non steam edition Arma 2 and rely on Operation Arrowhead being on Steam ?

That's excellent! I was hoping for a post on this, thanks for showing me I suppose i'll just wait it out until the next patch. Do you have any idea about the 1.60.93616 requirement for some servers?

Hey guys, I've been playing DayZ for a couple of weeks now and I play with a group of 6 people. We've noticed more recently that whenever we group up, on any server, we're always out of sync with each other. Some of us are running off in random directions, face grinding into fences or disappearing and appearing somewhere else. It's making the game unplayable for us and we can't find a single server without this out of sync issue. Is everyone witnessing this or is it just us, we live in the south east of the UK and we've tried so many servers but still face this issue. Also I used to play on DE4 alot but now when I want to join it I can't as it says it requires 1.60.93616 ?? What does that mean as I used to play on it? Cheers.
