First login ever on DayZ, dont know any controls, didnt play mod. Dark as f**k outside, paranoid. Found a couple of buildings, looted them and found some nice items. Walks out of the house when I scream of fear because there's a human right outside the door. My reaction made me punch him with my firsts a couple of times since I thought it was a zombie, lel. Realize it wasnt very effective so ran in. Heard a voice saying: "Hey, it's ok bro. Come on out." I was like: aaaaaah it was a player :D and we became bro's, he helped me with controls and we had a small adventure, then both had to leave so we said goodbye. Then I confronted a zombie to test my fists damage, wanted to change avatar anyway. Took the zombie like 20 seconds to kill me when I stood still.

Future bro-tip to a bro, unequip your shirt, rip a piece of and use as bandage :)

I got an old PC CPU: AMD Phenom II x4 BE50 (2 cores unlocked to 4, kek) 3.2ghz~ GPU: XFX Radeon HD 5770 1gb memory RAM: 8gb 1333mhz Disc: 500gb (lol why would this matter, as long as you got a 3 year or younger harddrive) I play Battlefield 4 on overall medium settings 1920x1080p and never experienced lag, also using 2 monitors. DayZ Standalone runs fine. Overall medium settings with 1920x1080 resolution, then disabled anti-aliasing and shadows, had a pair of 3 second lag shutters, in 2 hours of gameplay, only brats complain about that. If you got better setup than me but cant run it smoothly on medium, you probably treat your pc bad or filled it up with crap software.

Although decent people with a full daytime job should find this perfect, since only kids and basement-junkies play daytime.. Although I live in Sweden and ofcourse got a full time job, so I can more or less only play night time during weekdays, which isn't that annoying. Just man up and drop your lights in your room. Survival of the fittest aye?
