I wish the arrow will be implemented as soon as possible

Exactly, these would be makeshift bow and arrows not Hollywood movie stuff.
  2. Well it would be useless...if those guids never got banned/ban listed.

Being a bandit that doesn't KoS feels good.

I intentionally let myself be held up and robbed the other day. I had a backpack...which contained a backpack...which contained a backpack...which contained a backpack... They were like, "WTF?" I told them I was but a lowly traveling backpack salesman, down on my luck. They laughed and gave me back my backpacks.

    Suggestions:

Half of your post are bugs, not suggestions. All of which have been reported, suggested or discussed already. You do not have to scroll through "fucking 10-30 pages forum reading all fucking suggestions that are made, and every bug reported" The forum rules clearly state to use the feedback/bug tracker to report bugs, as far as thread titles you should "Call it something meaningful." and "Search First: Use the search function to look for an existing thread on the topic that you wish to share your opinion about.", all these rules being common to pretty much any online game discussion/forum. The feedback tracker is fully organized and categorized to make reporting and searching for bugs and other game issues incredibly simple. The hunger/thirst system is very intentional. DayZ is not supposed to be an easy game where food and water are merely minor necessities. That said, once you realize how the system works it is incredibly easy to manage and upkeep hunger/thirst and maintain a "healthy" state. The fact that you haven't bothered to read the numerous guides posted about this, isn't an indicator of an issue with the game but the fact that you need to familiarize yourself with the game mechanics before complaining about them. Zombie clipping issues have been reported repeatedly. It's not some obscure issue. It's actually massively well-known. This is a bug, not a suggestion. Geometry errors also fall under the realm of a bug. The game has a 230 sq. km. map. "Some houses had rocks literally sticking through." doesn't help anyone at all. If you want to report a geometry issue, you need to note and describe the position as best you can, at least the town where it was and report it using the bug tracker. There are currently known issues with loot respawning. This is very well-known. That said guns are not supposed to be incredibly easy to find. This has been stated by the developer many times. In fact, they recently DECREASED weapon spawns if that tells you anything. As far as your blood suggestions and blood coolers in hospitals...where are these coolers getting power from? Also, a blood transfusion from a dead body would be toxic. Again, you need to familiarize yourself with the game mechanics. DayZ is not meant to be easy. Also, if you're not aware you can't administer blood bags or saline bags to yourself. You cannot draw blood from yourself either. Another player has to do it for you. As far as character customization goes, the game was just released last month. There may be more options later on in development. But personally, the females look like females to me. As far as sound bugs and random zombie noises (these can be caused by rabbits) this is also well-known. That would also fall under "bug" which is what the bug tracker is for. Things like, "Its idiotic, fix it." and your excessive use of profanity aren't going to get you very far here.

    Faster Zombies vs. Slower ones

I've aggro'd 5 zombies at once before, ran a little, turned around and shot them all. Even lots of zombies are still easy to deal with it. Faster zombies or at least some zombies who were faster or entered into an enraged state which granted a speed boost would be more challenging. Rocket has stated he doesn't want different types of zombies, like L4D style type zombies and that he doesn't think zombies should be considered a primary threat in DayZ but I think they could definitely add more behaviors to zombies to make them more challenging.

    Suggestions:

First off, the thread title "SUGGESTIONS:" is terrible and unhelpful. Secondly, you don't appear to understand how the thirst/hunger system works. You also are mostly just listing bugs, all of which have ALREADY been noted. Some house...somewhere(?) on the 230 sq. km. map had a rock sticking through it? Well...thanks for "nailing" that one down, astute user. Use the feedback/bug tracker if you want to report bugs or in your case upvote issues that...like I said...have already been posted. Otherwise, this is a completely useless thread. http://feedback.dayzgame.com "Its idiotic, fix it." is not really a suggestion.

Dead players eventually become lootable zombies

I would go into an indepth explanation of why this is impractical and a bad idea including what Rocket has said about this himself...but since this suggestion has already been suggested too many times to count...LAST WEEK ALONE (Suggestions? Ok. The exact same suggestions that have been posted 100 times already? No.) and constitutes a definite search fail on your part I'm just going to leave you with this thought:
  8. It appears like Kich's inbox is full. Anyway, I wrote an indepth walkthrough/beginner's guide specific to the DayZ SA here I think would be useful to add to the guide list, posted the 20th of last month: Survivor's Guide to DayZ SA: http://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/156472-survivors-guide-to-dayz-sa/ Additionally, another guide was just posted this week that would also be useful to add to the list: STALKERS Survival guide: http://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/164295-stalkers-survival-guide-complete/ I think these would both be good additions to the list.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R.S. Survival Guide [Complete] [Update on May 30th]

It's a good guide but it would be nice if you provided links or mentions of other guides/guide writers/sources that you used besides the Wiki, as this information has been provided in numerous other guides. There have been numerous helpful and thorough guides like this written but since a forum mod already wrote and a pinned "Beginner's Guide" which tells you how to put a battery in your flashlight and how to punch there doesn't appear to be any interest in pinning or stickying any other user written guides.

    BattlEye Bans?

I've searched for this malicious Dayz FPS booster program you say your friend was duped into downloading but when I do searches for dayz fps booster/optimization/etc. for both the standalone specifically and dayz in general all google comes up with are pages and pages of guides including step by step videos on how to optimize the in game settings and not a single link to a downloadable tool made specifically for dayz which is what you say your friend used. Just saying. I don't know where he would have come across this fake fps tool and not seen the numerous guides on simply optimizing his in game settings or alternatively adjusting the program settings for his GPU, both of which seem like no brainers.

3 of us died from a hacker last night

You may har har if you like but FYI, kiddies (and adults) whose accounts have been banned have already begun springing up on these forums, steam forums as well as game hacking site forums to spill tears about their accounts being permabanned on a game they just spent 30 bucks on so obviously something is working.
  12. ninjacalypse

I never played the original, why is there 3rd person?

Wow...so you and 7 of your friends all happen to suffer from (judging from your account) what sounds like Vertigo that I'm guessing is either onset by rare brain disorders, Ménière's disease or more commonly you all just happen to be chronic migraine sufferers and there is no way you or the majority of your friends can play FPS games unless they have a third person (aka peek-aboo) view option?I'm just worried that there might be some sort of "something in the water" type situation going on in Australia unless you and your friends are all in some sort of Vertigo Sufferers clan.
  13. Character resets can be caused by: 1. Server not using up to date files 2. Server not whitelisted on public hive 3. Server desynced with public hive 4. Character data corrupted.

    Bananas

    It's a good banana...that's seen better days.
  15. ninjacalypse

    Exploit problem

It's called "ghosting" and along with server hopping and combat logging, it will be addressed eventually. Rocket has talked in the past about a logout timer/cooldown/damage penalty to address these issues.

How to give an item to someone?

  17. I thought Rust was supposed to be a naked caveman game. How the hell do you end up with machine guns from chopping wood and mining rocks?
  18. Don't take obvious routes/roads. Avoid places like electro/Cherno/airfields where campers like to hang out. Avoid towns near coast. Avoid other players or approach with caution. Try playing on a lower pop server if all else fails. Or do what I do... Run around naked with a baseball bat singing Harry Belafonte songs...while serpentining. I made it all the way from Kamyshovo to Elektro to Cherno like that on a near full 40 slot server, decided to put pants on in Cherno, got to Balota, killed quite a few server hoppers at the airfield and then ran back to Kamyshovo singing on the way back....still alive.
  19. ninjacalypse

    Chernarus Run

You shoulda serpentined. I was running circles around some newspawn/coast campers in full mil gear yesterday at Kamyshovo with nothing but underwear and a baseball bat. They were burning through their ammo and I was asking them in direct if it would be easier if I ran in a straight line for them and was giving them pointers on how to actually aim their weapons at someone not running in a straight line which seemed impossible for them. Good fun. I actually went to Cherno (and) back later and they were still sitting there and still couldn't aim to save their lives, which explains why they were camping in Kamyshovo. I hope they were trying to make some epic video about how pro they were.
  20. Sorry, forgot to add the link: http://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/62195-server-hosting-rules-updated-3009/ I think we'll see more fleshed out rules for the SA specifically as development progresses but unless I'm mistaken most of the applicable rules from hosting mod servers applies to the SA as well.
  21. ninjacalypse

    Zombies..

If anything they should be more of a threat. As it stands currently, you can kill a zombie with a single body shot...and they're undead. Players are actually harder to kill than zombies. I've been hit with glancing blows by zombies and not been hurt. They actually time their attacks at regular intervals. If you pay attention you can attack before their attack, dodge run from their lunge, attack them again...repeat as necessary.
  22. It's part of the server rules that DayZ server operators agree to. If you're interested these are the rules for Dayz mod server operators which basically mirror SA rules, disregarding things that don't apply or that refer to non-implemented features. In most games if you can prove that admins are being abusive and simply kicking/banning because someone killed them or they don't want to lose, there are disciplinary actions in place to deal those abusive admins. Whoops, forgot to add the link: http://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/62195-server-hosting-rules-updated-3009/

    gate opening sounds ? QUESTION

Yeah, the gate is part of the ambience track and it annoys me too. What Chauz is talking about (above) is actually a glitch, which sometimes makes player sounds such as drinking, eating, shooting, talking heard globally across the server but what you're talking about are the ambient sounds.
  24. ninjacalypse

    Complete Noob

You should be able to open doors and interact with objects with F key by default. There are a small percent of buildings that can't be entered though. As far as "saving" try to find a safe place to logout at. Some people like to logout in the middle of trees or bushes. Avoid logging out in high traffic areas, especially near airfields as you're more likely to get shot. If you're not comfortable playing on big servers try a lower pop server instead. Your character and current gear remains persistent across all public servers. Fists aren't recommended for dealing with zombies if you're an inexperienced player. Fire axes and guns are a one hit kill. If you have no weapon run...and not towards a house you're trying to loot because they'll just follow you there too. If you have a standard melee weapon common methods to kill them include strafing or charging at them an swinging as you run by (zombie jousting) avoiding the timing on their attacks. As far as hooking up with friends you'll have to take the ten toe express but you can use external communication programs like teamspeak, mumble! steam chat, to coordinate. If you need more help I wrote a walk through/survivor's guide for players new to DayZ. Link is in my sig, should help you get started.
  25. I've had people combat log on me when all I had was a baseball bat and running around like an idiot in my underwear...and they actually had guns...go figure. Combat logging/hopping/ghosting are all things slated to be addressed during the development. For now we have to deal with. It basically.
