    Zombie respawn rate

Whatever you think hold no weight here. You will be surrounded and eaten by forum knights who claim the game is in Alpha which is where it will remain for many years to come. May i suggest waiting for H1Z1?

Game would be fun if they had a smaller boundry

I actually made a bet with myself that you would reply with the same old "its alpha" response. Thanks for reminding me, again, see my posts? By the way- how about shrinking the boundries so there isnt so much useless map area while we test the game?

Ok So what is there to survive against currently? If you cannot survive in this game right now you may need to look into your hobby choice and reconsider. Seriously.

You dont think i've tried this? Look at my post count, you think im some sort of blotto with no brain? Of course ill find a few individuals, rarely. And as much as i like 1 on 1 encounters im usually met with a mute. Is this one of those forums where any idea is shot down without counterargument? If it is feel free to take my white flag. I honestly dont even care that much any more.

Sooo. Enlighten me. What are you even doing? Killing the one-two zombies that run at you sometimes which go through walls, lag around, ect? Running along the road for 30 mins? Opening 100 houses hoping to find something that you may never use anyways? I actually enjoy the game when i meet other players but that happens once like every 3 hours
  6. Its hard to have respect for a game developer who clearly doesn't give a crap about its tester experience, but here's my drop in the wishbucket (as that seems what everyone else is doing on these forums) Add a version that cuts the map down to 1/30 of its current size so i can actually "test" this game with other players, or better yet, find my friends. As it stands the map is only 5% viable and the rest is just a big waste of time.

Dayz SA Killed my Hype for ESO

You kidding? The connection is MASSIVE. If anyone was trying to have some sort of image of what skrim online would be, it would be in a universe like DAYZ + questlines and PVP..... It's even been stated by sacriel when he played up in the norther parts of the map looting around that it felt like "he was playing skyrim".. Thats when it dawned on me, Dayz has like all the things i like about skyrim.. Personal customization, exploration, ability to loot anything....
  9. Its funny how playing Dayz SA basically annihilated my built up hype for ESO... Since Dayz SA is pretty much ESO without all the bullshit questing and safezones. I know this probably the least direct post about DAYZ i have posted thus far, but i felt the urge to splatter my thoughts on this matter. All i really wanted from ESO was skyrim, with other players. The ability to loot anything, the ability to go anywhere, and do anything, that makes a lasting impact on the world. Welp, came and played Dayz for the first time and BLAM, it was like "woah, im playing skyrim with guns and zombies". Minus the quests of course... But the quests in Skyrim were GOOD, and that was due to the single player nature of the game... In an MMO they have to be dumbed down and have little to no effect, as not to ruin the next person in line. Again, i know its a really indirect post, but you cant even fathom how great my hype for ESO was, and how Dayz just nuked the fuck out of that hype.

    Balota loot problem?

Balota should have handguns only, or maybe just military knives.
  11. And then a new law was made in russia that no one would ever attempt to photograph things while climbing a tall ladder

    OIffline Mode...

And while we're at it, lets make it so you can run an entire WOW server from your home pc, Ever heard your modem growl? Ever heard your hard drive dry heave? Let me know how your computer manages to manage 700 zombies, 1000's of loots spawns, and long player draw distance, all while you play it.
  13. The more i think about it the more this makes sense. It takes a person about 2 mins alone just to assure himself he can advance, let alone return fire. If it were a 5-10-or even 30 second timer, players would still have PLENTY of time to log out if they are hiding. In some situations it takes 5 mins just to plan a flanking menouver
  14. This is how i feel it should be, but many argue that this games' hardcore nature makes crash security more and more important But as Sacriel and his buddys said "its 2014, we dont have the intermittent area timeouts like we used to back in the day, i timeout once or twice a month, if that" And if the game is truly server-side, then any real game/server crash would mean the crash of zombies too, so you would be fine in that situation
  15. Has anyone ever played res evil 4? Not to say im basing this entire suggestion off of a single game, but that game is what single handedly set the zombie standard in my cerebrum, and is why so many games since then have readily dassapointed me with their lackluster and meaningless zombies. That is not to say im upset that DAYZ has these mindless, meaningless zombies, but why not add some really nasty ones. I'm not talking about a L4D boomer, smoker, or anything over zealous in that fashion, but perhaps something a bit scary, like finding some deranged, and unnaturally enlarged walking corpse partially bulked with fungi out in the deep woods. Perhaps a small chance when entering the large coastal city's, you may run across a really fat, loud, slow moving zombie. Let me stress further that the buffer of non-essential zombie is to be great, but i think there needs to be some personality here, some surprises that may, in fact, cause players to get scared at what they might find lurking in devils castle, scouring the streets of cherno, or infesting the deep forest surrounding green mountain, ect. A zombie type that really fills the atmosphere and lures some extra "scope time" of nearby players.
