more guns scattered all around the map, farmer shotgun or pistols would be nice, not making it very common but i rarely meet players unless in coastal military base...and the ones that are far away are useally nice but people arent there...im missing the pvp and guns really they just spawn in the most commonn places so theyre all looted on nearly every server...this is aplha though so...just saying not complaining :)

theyre pretty rare to me, its just that people only loot military base right now...weapons are still pretty darn rare they just spawn at certain places and towns are useally gun less for me...i dont see the point of making m4's rare....theres barely any ammo for it anyway...

i won one fire fight and killed 2 bambis without weapons...i felt pretty bad about it afterwards... but when you let em get close they can knock you out easily and steal your stuff...happened to me before...so...

one day i found shotgun shells but no gun, i tried to ram them into my m4...no worky... nice story...i suck at story telling as you can see.

So im around at the airfield...killed 2 people but within a minute the bodies simply dissapear...sad that i cannot loot em hehe

Ah interesting nah killed 2 people first 2 kills with this char and they both dissapeared so fast...lol...just wanted to mention this bug...that is all. :)

20 hours played and still having fun what are you saying dean! haha totally worth it :) support them i wanna see this game rise into something great. i love dayz mod and standalonehaters gonna hate im enjoying it very much!

south west i believe according to my compass theres where all the pvp happens amirite? the map is huge ive explored a lot but no pvp at all, seems like pvp happens at one millitary base and im missing out a map to find would be handy...or more map spawns since i never ever found one? could anyone tell me which direction to go for the military base? i has compass :D

military base near spawn has m4's and pistols but loadsa people camp the place just cause they know people search for it find a mosin after 2 hours in the first big town away from spawn in a farm house...guess i got lucky find that one hah.

I dont understand how you cannot find any food...at spawn people start so likely theres no food at all....get on a low pop server and explore some likely the first big town gives you a bit of everything and even a mosin sometimes... and it should be this way...explore houses and move on...right now few zombies but it will be challenge later on for sure when theyre gonna add things. also the military base has way 2 many items...and sadly this map only has one military base thats near spawn...so people at spawn will likely get killed there than anything else right now... what i do i explore until i have stuff then i return to military to confront other people...personally if i see a new spawner with only melee ill avoid him and let him walk away i dont see the fun in killing those people when im geared but thats just me... its pretty darn simple right now and i like it...im not a dayz vet but finally im learning how to moves things...how to walk and sneak up on people...i use to be horrid in the mod...

yeah i think once youre hurt but recover you wont re gain colour for some reason ive seen it before, must be a bug i think.

Yes BUT not with the current AI the current 3rd person smacking with the axe is bugged, i died from 2 zombies wearing armor and all but just couldnt hit them good idea, but right now ...no...let them first work on the zombie AI and other things..

if you scout areas on low pop servers you can find decent food easily...i do...i never eat rotten stuff again lol...think it couldnt do any harm got sick and passed out... i remember on the steam forums some guys was getting sooo mad for dying from rotting food hahah them trolls...steam forum....yeah...

some dude tried to kill me yesterday...i was in a room at military since thats where mostly if not all pvp is at now at spawn military heh...anyway i turned around and ziggzagged right in front of his face, he couldnt hit me for some reason, pulled out m4 and shot him to heaven...thanks for the bullets about 40...too bad i died from zombies with all my loaded gear today since in 3rd person its a bit bugged...now scouting a few hours im quit loaded with a mosin i found at a farm...heading back to military later...to either let bambis walk ( yes i that nice ) and kill some.

i just got done playing on a daylight server and im in europe, also i joined several servers who where already at night whilst others are at day try a different server i guess cause i think they're mixed day/night servers now.

i still have my character for some reason, i thought re loggin into steam would do the trick but nope...still got it.

its just crazy long and unbearable for my eyes putting contrast and brightness up, i understand the argument of a challenge but its giving me a headache after a while and that is the challenge for me...just not fun.. and i dont think its very good for your eyes and brain focussing on pure weird black and white graphics... you dont like nighttime at all then you shouldn't be playing this cause its unrealstic - way to force people lock the brightness contrast bars - monitors have buttons which you can adjust it...so locking it wont do a thing? also in ATI you can force brightness contrast and other things on a game manually so... i dont even see the problem here, just mix it up a little and everyone can enjoy the game....it was okay before but in the 2nd update night time seems even darker then before...now i have to put up the contrast up also and i still cant see a thing anywhere... maybe flashlights who last for ages? but thats not realstic either now is it? lol... its an aplha to me its all good, i avoid night time tho...so i only play a couple hours a day...caturday is probably when im gonna devote my time towards a longer session...
