  1. They need to fix bullet splashes first...so you can adjust accordingly.
  2. No helis. PLEASE. I don't want my hidden camps raided within 12 hrs.
  3. I don't know where people get this idea that "sniping is hard IRL"...it's completely false. Sniping WAS hard irl 60 years ago. With today's technology and weaponry you can easily hit a target in no wind situation at 1000 yards with a good weapon system. There are even scopes that zero for you...and you don't have to do anything but pull the trigger. A child can understand the mil-dot system or how the SVD PU score works it's nothing too difficult to learn. Even I can hit an 8 inch steel plate at 400 yards with my 5.56 AR which means I should be able to hit someone with an m4 across the airfield first shot in DAYZ. In my opinion the only things that should affect how accurately you shoot is your state of health (if you're in pain or have broken limbs), weather (high winds and what not). I think broken scopes should still shoot consistently but not on zero...and not have a random chance of going anywhere. Also since zombies don't exist and are known to be pretty much brain dead from all the fictional movies and books...I don't see how senses like smell and eyesight and hearing are working for them because you need good brain activity for that. I think zombies should have a good sense of hearing and low sense of vision during day time. And no sense of vision during the night. Sense of smell should only come into effect if you are 5 meters or closer to the zombie.
  4. Two things: 1. I'm going to assume zombies don't have a sense of smell... 2. Just a little reply on what you said...imagine you having a choice IRL (if you were in a combat zone) of finding a sniper to kill an ememy or actually charging your enemy down and having a large chance of yourself dying. What would you do ? Would you be a man and go die ? Or wait for a sniper? DAYZ is realistic combat and surviving simulator. This isn't Call of duty...in real life you camp and camp and camp some more...whatever prevents your ass from getting shot.
  5. Is it something about Up and down markings on the sight being wrong ?
  6. My guess would be something like a German World war 2 MP-38 or MP-40 or a Russian PPSH-41. That would be my best guess...since they are adding mostly old guns atm, I don't think it will be something as modern as MP5, UMP45 or Kriss Vector.
  7. That is not an SMG...it doesn't fire pistol cartridges.
  8. I think a ghilie suit should give your character lesser chance to be detected by zombies. Since it makes you pretty hard to make out from the bushes and the grass. I also would like to see precision military weapons added into the game that you can actually rely on. I'm so sick of seeing guys run across the NWAF like it's nothing, since there is no gun accurate enough atm to actually kill or break their legs on first shot.
  9. Well in my personal opinion there's nothing wrong with adding AS50's or desert eagles to the game as long as you have to go to hell and back to obtain it. Like for example add it in a underground military complex full of some sort of super mutant evil zombies that you can only kill with a group of people...
  10. Too much realism can make the game quite boring. IMO the more items in game = better overall experience.
  11. Not better luck...I guess you haven't read my first post. So I'll say it again, theres a system in game that increases and decreases accuracy of firearms depending on how damaged they are ....and NO I'm not talking about attachments, weapons themselves have damage values but the tooltips aren't implemented yet so we can't know if the weapon is damaged until we actually shoot it and see if it's accurate. So I suggested removing the whole system and making the guns jam instead of being inaccurate. All my information was taken from Mr. Sacriels live stream, he is friends with Hicks(DEV) and Dean Hall and apparently asked one of them about it and that's what they said. Also adding to the whole inaccuracy thing I agrue that an M4 should be able to make a atleast 6 inch group at 300 yards with an Acog I want you to log in and walk 300 yards from a building and shoot at the same point and see where your bullets will go...I bet even the most pristine M4 won't be able to do that the bullets will go 1-2 meters all around your point of aim and that is just unrealistic because I know guys who put long range Leupold scopes on their m4s and shoot up to 800 yards with them. Try it yourself my friend you'll see what I'm talking about.
  12. Well from what I've heard you say, you sound like you haven't played the game much. Trust me when you have a sure shot at somebody sitting in an open field and you take it and miss by 3 meters you'll understand what I'm on about. Also you don't need training to know how to shoot, my avatar is me firing my m4 with un-zeroed Eotech at 50 yards ( bench rested) at 8 inch circle. Even Piers Morgan knows how to shoot and he's a gun hating communist.
  13. Although I agreee with you on the army sim thing but valuable(and rare) items like that would make the game so much more realistic after getting these items you will think twice about popping shots at that guy in the open field :D I bet your heart would be going nuts even harder when u had something like that to loose.
  14. Good guide but calling magazine a clip ruined it for me .
