Forming a Private Hive Trading Post with a Custom Base

This group is for those that are looking to give DayZ a little more structure. For some time I have wanted to secure a location where players can trade items as safely as possible. Recently, I have come across a server that provides what we need to get this going because of the custom base building features added by the server owner. I don't want to place many restrictions on how you play your game. You can play the bandit all that you want, just not around the trading post because people need to be able to trust that they aren't going to be killed by us for no reason. I would prefer to keep the group 18+ but this is not a strict requirement. Server Features - Namalsk Server with Blowouts & Bloodsuckers - 24/7 Daylight - 300+ Vehicles - Ability to Harvest Vehicle Parts / Siphon Fuel - Custom Base Building Features with Keypad operated gates (Not DayZ+) Trading Post Operation The Trading Post will be surrounded by walls so that it can only be entered by gate or helicopter. A tent will be placed going through the wall so that it can be accessed by people inside and outside of the base. The inside of the base will be complete with watchtowers that overlook the trading area and we will build campfires inside of the base to signal to customers that the trading post is in operation. Once there is an agreement on what is being traded, the customer places the items they are trading into the tent, we then take the item out of the tent and replace it with the item being requested. Group Objectives We've already started on some of the groundwork needed for this project, but we're still pretty early in the process and need to get a few things set up before we're fully opperational. Here is a list of our current objectives. - Complete Construction of Trading Area - Collect all Vehicles of a specific type for group use only (SUV?) - Gather a surplus of supplies for trade - Repair additional vehicles for trade - Come up with a group name - Create a Steam Group or some other forum for internal group discussion Group Rules - No attacking players within the proximity of the trading post unless they are hostile or refuse to identify themselves - No targeting players that are entering/leaving the trading area - No stealing from the trading post or camps of groups that are not hostile toward us. DayZ Base Building, 600+ Vehicles US023 Lingor Server

Can somebody tell me why I've been banned from this server? To my knowledge I have followed the server rules. About 10 minutes ago I was killed by a bandit. When I tried to log back in I got stuck at the loading screen and my game stopped responding. So I closed the game and tried joining again. I don't know if you have something in place to catch people that Alt - F4 but I can assure you I didn't close the game to escape death. -

Tents not saving inventory and dissapearing

Tents have been extremely unreliable lately, I used to have a decent camp by a lake with extra alice packs, weapons, car parts, essentials, that all dissappeared with the most recent update. Then I set up 3 tents on US 607 that lost their gear/dissappeared upon server restart, then set up 2 tents on US 608 just to have the same issue occur. I don't even bother with tents at the moment, I've spent too much time setting up camp just to see it all dissappear. -
Bounty Hunters/Bounty System?

I love the idea of a bounty hunter system. I think it would be interesting if rather than pinpointing the exact location of the bandit, it would give you the time/general area that the bandit was last seen or the location of their last murder. This would make it more of a hunt because the bandit could bandit could move from the area to evade bounty hunters, or possibly find a good spot to ambush bounty hunters that are headed toward the area. I think that bounty hunters would be willing to hunt down bandits for their gear alone. But if there was a dog tag/proof of murder type of system in place, people could set their own rewards. I like the idea. -
You're playing this game on your computer, you can already play music at the same time if you wanted to.
