I just wish they would add meters as hunger and thirst don't pop up until your under 600 hunger and thirst under 2000. Which wouldn't be too much of a problem if it didn't take 3500+ hunger to start healing with no way of knowing if your even remotely close as eating has a diminishing effect now

how much food do you have to eat to get healthy? I've gorged all of cherno and still not healthy/healing not thirsty as i just visited a well

how they going to do them differently? No more catastrophic engine failure because the glass fell off?

welcome to dayz! :rolleyes: K first off you don't find "noob gear" in "bases" you find them in cities/towns. First priority is getting fed and some water since new spawns start out with one leg in the grave already. Don't wanna get shot? don't hang around military bases. They yield you know these little things called bullets that people use shoot at you :o

pretty sure i know the answer but does changing your gender/clothes in the character screen kill your character? i know it says "on respawn this will be your character" but this is alpha so i trust experience over text

question! whats with the 21+/18+ only things everywhere. i myself am 22 so this doesn't really apply to me but im just curious. Is everyone 21-/18- not that great or something

morphine used to do it i only broke my leg once a few days ago and morphine worked... also a splint out of bandages/rags and a wooden stick make a splint

I really prefer the mosin over the m4 the m4 is a bit better in close quarters but if your accurate with the mosin(chest/head) i can win most of the crossfire but you only got 1 or 2 shots until you die if they have over a 20 round clip

cargo pants and hunting pants both have 6 slot just cargo pants are one solid color as hunting pants/corps/tsosk pants are all multicolored

not sure why everyone is complaining about combat logging. lets say you do kill them before they log theri body goes done and by the time you get near to loot htem their body will be gone as if they click "respawn" or "exit" their body disappears i confirmed this as one of my friends valted over a balcony(lawls) in cherno died he respawned somehow miraculously in cherno but the second he clicked respawn his body disappeared HOWEVER i do agree with logging out into a different server to reposition is complete bullshit i posted in a different furom where servers shoudln't carry over items/characters but everyone disagreed with me. Apparnelty they look having a combat logger disappear pop up in a tower and kill you.

well idk maybe i always shot someone who was already dying then. i only have a 10 round clip for my m4 and i never empty It possibly im lucky and always get headshots? :D

any gun kills in 1 head shot (unless your lucky and your ballistics helmet blocks it. in my experience the m4 will kill/unconcious someone in 3-5 shots. Hell even an axe to the head will outright kill you

i've never had this problem. when i disconnect form a server I'm usually just ported back 5-20 seconds before the only time i logged out and come back with my character deleted is when rocket did a character wipe.

Then if they do implement a base building type thing it would be absolutely pointless. Spend probably hours buildings a base just for some one to go, oh that's cute, log into server under yours walk about 20 feet go back to top server and inside behind everyone. Ya i think i missed the part where you can switch dimensions at will to walk through walls/barbwire Also played on the same server since the game come out (did switch a few times to see what one i like) and been alive for 4 days haven't died, been healthy have a decent supply of ammo and food a plenty. So i do not see your point about "there is little choice than to server hop" ya because everyone loves those server hoppers at military bases my god they realy need that 200 round box because you know players totally take 50 bullets to kill.....

IMO i think each server should have you fresh spawned if its your first time there. Now i am by no means a programmer/server expert so i don't know if this is even possible or probable. But lets say we do it like minecraft for example. every server you go in where you left off. so if you go to a server you haven't played on then you are on the coast. i.e items/location don't carry over servers. i mean think about it it would ruin game play later on. Have a base built up and everything but anyone that knows where it is at can just server hop and pop there in the base.

Why would i need anything protected? x.x almost everything in this game is easily replaceable by the time it goes to even worn 0/10 would not pick up your version of the container :(

Honestly i don't see the point of the fnx. it takes 4 or 6 slots the ammo for it is pretty rare the clip for it is extremely rare and by the time you found one you could of easily scored 4 m4s and 2 mosins

why would anyone take a container if it didn't have any advantage might as well delete them from the game.

Hey quick question! i know the Mosin has an internal clip that can hold 5 rounds but when i "load ammo" it shows on the gun that just a picture of the ammo not how many are in. I can't get on right now so do i have to do "load ammo" 5 times or is the ammo counter on the gun just bugged?
