The only trouble with ladders that I have had have been on that haunted ship, Rify. When I get to the top of a ladder, usually there is some barrier blocking me from moving forward initially. I just veer a bit to the right or left while still holding W and am safe and sound on the roof. Maybe your characters inner ear is off? No one ever taught them how to climb a ladder? Father wasn't a painter?

I'm teh sheriff of this here town! To the two guys I met in Cherno at the fire station. One of you starved and went unconscious as my, newly found, friend (who I traveled with all the way from... Kamyshovo?) was shot to death by a guy wearing an orange hard hat. I could see the guy wearing the orange hard hat draw his weapon as my newly found friend was making nice small talk. I was on the second story of the Firehouse tower and was trying to get a bead on the YMCA'er with my SKS... no luck. I start moving down the stairs to help my buddy when I hear it *PTWANG*... is my shitty headset acting up? *PTWANG* *PTWANG*... no... not a shitty headset... I knew coming down the stairs that my friend was dead and the mo^#erfuck#R that shot him was there! looting his body! So I unload about eight rounds into him... continuing to fire even though I know he is far away in Valhalla... I go over to have a look at what silver lining I can spare from the carnage that had just played out, not noticing the third body on the ground. From nowhere a man with a gas mask and a machete rushes my throat... he zips this way and that screaming, "FUCKING KOS'R PIECE OF SHIT!!!" My vision goes blurry... but my voice still musters "Fuck that! I just killed a guy that shot my BUDDY!!!" We get to talking and figure it was a clusterfuck of the first thing to be lost in war... truth. Who's side was I on? I was ready to kill this guy that came at me with a machete... but he was sticking up for his buddy (unconscious on the ground from starvation), as I was for mine by killing the guy that killed my friend who this other guy thought was his friend who I killed!! AHH!!! clusterfuck! So. we reconcile and figure the guy unconscious needs a saline bag so we both set off to find one. I keep coming back to check on the unconscious guy to make sure he's alright as I search the near picked clean city. Eventually, after what seemed like forever, I finally find a saline bag and rush back to the fire station ready to help the guy... but he was gone by then. Gone... and I never even got to deputize them...

You DO realize at some point the developers plan to take out the "Hungry" "Hydrated" "Healthy" "Starving" text indicators, right? Why would they take out an already functioning, non textual-based, mechanic that indicates when you are low on health?!

My big thing is load-out. If I find that I have much more than a bandage, some painkillers, and maybe a flashlight and can of beans, I log out... Right click on the speaker in the lower right of your screen and go to Recording Devices. Make sure that the correct microphone is selected as your default device (programs like Skype and Teamspeak seem to not rely on what windows has to say your default device is).

If you plopped in a good dedicated graphics card, I bet it'd run... probably with some stutters and on lower settings cause that APU is gonna bottleneck the shizz outta that system. You COULD try dual graphics with a cheapo HD 6450 (Note, this is the ONLY card you can DUAL GRAPHICS with tat APU). But I doubt DayZ has any support or optimization for such a setup and it might marginally, if at all , improve your performance. That's gonna be your under 40 bucks solution. But, I'd recommend dropping at least 150 on a decent graphics card and see about upgrading that CPU, if you can. (Though, I'd imagine FM1 socket CPU's are either really cheap right now or really expensive)

In the past three weeks of playing, I have not visited ONE airfield or ONE military base, not even Green Mountain... no Prisons, no barracks, no ATC's, no Firestations... and, you know what? I was still able to get multiple characters fully geared. One with an M4 and a Magnum. One with an SKS and a Magnum, and another with a Mosin and a Magnum... and all with hunting backpacks...

There was a bug, fixed now, I believe where the hunger was just ramped up to ridiculous proportions... maybe part of your problems (this and not going inland) was this?
