If you want to get a decent experience playing DayZ, you're gonna have to drop at least 500 bucks on a desktop there partner. I'd either recommend a build based around a 5670K from Intel with a high end Nvidia card like a GTX 660Ti or better (I would not go AMD for a high end card right now as the prices are high because of Litecoin mining; example, I got my HD7950 about six months ago for about 215 bucks and they are now going for around 300 to 450 used on Ebay) or for a budget build maybe try an AMD A8-5600K in dual graphics with an R7 260X or R7 240. Just some suggestions. But, you'll either need to drop about 500 for a desktop that can play it or roughly double that or more for a decent enough laptop.

Is 1st/3rd person the only control you are having trouble with? Because there are some servers that are locked to 1st person view only.

You're playing the mod there buddy. Loot will spawn when you are within 150 meters or so of the spawn points... so will zoombies, however. Server restarts do not dictate loot spawns in the mod, player proximity does. And, I'd imagine you just need to play a little more to learn which buildings spawn what kind of loot and where you need to go to get what you are looking for

Well... I have not seen this dev blog or what radio model you are talking about. But there are walkie talkies that you CAN pick up and carry in your inventory. I have found these walkies primarily in Fire stations

Why would one "OFC" move a lot slower?! That is a ridiculous thing to say.. I mean. Stating that this is the obvious and there could be no other way for it to work... what if the backpacks empty? Do YOU run slower when carrying an empty backpack?

There is, actually, a real possibility that it will make it to PS4... based on what has been said so far. What people need to understand about consoles having "less" power than your average PC, is that the hardware is not concentrated on any other tasks than running the game and there is little, if any, software buffer(Thanks DirectX...) between the hardware and the game... And think about the OS that a console has. That OS is perfectly designed for every specific piece of hardware in the machine whereas with a PC, the OS has to have EXPONENTIALLY broader support for various hardware. So, I believe it is more than doable and a definite "maybe". hahahha

Well the DayZ wiki has this to say about the Tactical vest: "The tactical vest is a great variant on the regular vest that is best used for close-quarters combat and city exploration. By providing ample storage space and heavy-duty survival fabrics, this vest should be a no-brainer in most survival gear sets." and this about the Assault vest: "The assault vest is perfect for offensive and defensive situations, providing ample pockets for ammunition and weapon modifications." Sounds to me like the Tactical vest offers more protection.

And, BTW, triple buffering is V-Sync, if that helps

That AppProfiles.dll, I believe, has something to do with Catalyst control center... maybe you should update/reinstall drivers and catalyst center

You might want to try going into Catalyst Control center and seeing if you have presets being forced on DayZ from the Catalyst center and, if so, set it so the game has complete control over graphical settings.
