You can.. I'd recommend having a guy on overwatch (preferably with the item you are asking for lawls) and definitely not have teh items for trade on your person

I say, play along with what they want... what's the difference? I+ mean, one could get away and that may make for great roleplay... but seeing it through wil be just as interesting. I don't understand why people don't realize that playing DayZ is playing the story of how you will die -

If you couldn't find food on the experimental servers... you suck, The last experimental server test had no where near as many server restarts as this new dev build did(restarting every 30 minutes or so... a glitvh, I think, where drinking soda from the ground caused a server restart). even on the current stable, old experimental, build where the servers didn't restart for six hours plus with full server population, I was still able to find all the food I could ever need.

2. I believe that you are supposed to match one of the horizontal lines on the ACOG with the shoulder width on your target to get distance from you. -
No... bad idea. Get stuck in server with NOONE on it.. and usually noone is on a server for a good reason. With the new logout timer, or whatever the new patch is introducing, It would make it even MORE difficult to find a decent server

Already been discussed. They are already going to implement something to curb hopping and ghosting... it just might take a while, who knows. And, you did not even suggest your own idea to help prevent it... your post is pretty useless -
Take my beans! I love both suggestions! And, I would bet they are already planning to do the second one you suggest. *Edit: I really hate that there are no binoculars in the game right now and that I COULDN'T place a scope in my hands lawls. I feel so much safer with a good optic for scouting
