Surely this is just a simple measure of pressing a FN key and pressing one of the F keys to switch between dedicated and discreet, I have an old alienware laptop that had this function. If you still can't find work it out it should be a simple matter for alienware tech support so just ring them. Edit: Google says FN+F7 :facepalm: if that doesn't work just call tech support, I doubt dayZ forums are the best place

Well I would like to know too. A couple of times I died I ask my friends to watch my body, I wait about 10 seconds before aborting and re-logging at the coast, and they say my body just disappeared :C I also once spawned up a tree in a forest near elektro, I fell and died of course. I sighed for about a minute >_>, re-logged, ran to where I died (i knew exactly where I died and got a lucky first spawn near elektro took about 5 mins) and I couldn't find it, heard flies and all. And other times I am able to get to my body even if it takes around 20+ mins. I used to think that bodies disappearing were people desperately trying to alt f4 to save their stuff, apparently it's not always the case. It's very annoying to say the least.

Yeah me too. Happend to me two times! Grrr! It's already fixed, get the latest Arma 2 beta patch installed properly. http://www.arma2.com/beta-patch.php My arma 2 is running the latest 1.6.93825. Camo works for me, ghillie suits work fine for my friends.

I'm wearing camo clothing, no problems. My friends are wearing ghillies (jelly) they are working fine. Just make sure your arma 2 is on the latest beta and it should be good.

NO They shouldn't be totally defenseless... since many bandits will take advantage. Though 1/2 mags will relegate the gun to more of a emergency defence, hopefully less makarov heroing.

I agree on this respect, no point doing a char wipe now as you might aswell have to do it again once that problem is resolved. A double wipe will definitely annoy some, not me, I personally don't mind but just thinking for the sake of not inconveniencing others too much by having them loose their stuff due to no fault of their own but due to the fault of annoying exploiters. But yeah at the end of the day it is alpha so w/e anything goes.
