What is the place with the small tank monument and crashed plane in hotel called?

I have no idea where to find water, and my character is very thirsty. also how do I get to the airfield? I am in this big city with the burned out building.

I doubt it involves my gpu being up to date since I could play Arma 3 with no issue, as well as being able to play it on medium-high.

I had this weird glitch in Arma 2 and the DayZ mod, in which the screen would suddenly go black after playing some time, my computer wouldn't freeze and could just alt-tab and close the game, I could still hear sounds, shoot, walk and do everything except I couldn't see it. Now my question is, will this carry onto the stand alone? Thanks!

I hope it has some sort of a discount, even if it's 10% off, gives me a reason to purchase the game at this time.

Glad to hear that, I tried all of that. I have the latest drivers and I don't have this problem in any other game ever played on my computer including Arma 3. I guess i'll just have to try the game out.

I would like to know if the standalone is based on Arma 2 engine or the Arma 3 engine, the reason I ask is because I had alot of problem with Arma 2 and DayZ but not with Arma 3 so before purchasing it I would like to know if I get the same kind of problems.

I would like to purchase the Alpha, but I had one simple question. Will it run well on a windows 8 pc. Thanks in advance, also how big is the game file?
