I always spawn in solnichny or some area near it, and run to berezino and then to NEAF. cant remember the last time i spawned on the western side.

a 760 gtx should have no problem with this game. if you want to regain color by restoring blood then eat everything you find and drink gallons of water until the healthy status appears. You will then be able to regen blood and the color will return.

So you want to be able to know if somebody is a murderer, or a dangerous individual just by looking at them? Are you on board with realism? I don't think it works that way in the real world. If you aren't pro-realism then this argument makes more sense.

The ability to rip shirts and turn them into bandages comes directly from project zomboid, which dean hall loves to play. good games influence the people who play them. i dont think it is bad to have aspects of them in dayz. I wouldnt buy a game just to support it and feel special. Even after telling people not to buy it they sold 800,000 copies and the game isnt even released yet. Maybe you shouldve listened and waited until the final product was ready and bought it then.

turn down bloom in graphics settings, and dont stare into the sun if you can help it...it's a star, and is bright enough to bathe an entire solar system in light.

Just imagine if the game was set in america, there would be a pistol or rifle in every house :D we all love shooting shit. You should be glad there aren't more. I would think you'd be happy, it's harder to get armed in the SA right now than it is in the mod for sure. I think the real solution is that you need to be more careful, and defend yourself. I havent been robbed. I stay out of sight, and though I may not intend to go around shooting people I make it a priority to have a gun in order to defend myself from would be robbers and bandits. Just like I do in real life.

Been playing solo for too long, I find it more interesting/less risky when I have somebody to roll with. Unfortunately none of my friends bought the game yet. PM me for my steam name and we shall roam chernarus as a unit. Don't really want a big squad. no more than me + 2 others. No kids, please be over 18.

In this scenario I would have made a topic discussing why somebody lived after being shot 30 times, not why you died when being struck by an axe. the 30 rounds thing seems a little more weird. Also, were you full on blood when you got hit with the axe?

hold the D or A key, rotate in a circle. The zombies can't keep up with you moving at angles. Just move to the side and strike, its ridiculously easy and almost silly once you get the hang of it. Zombies are a non issue once i have a good melee weapon. It's just like boxing, dont attack in straight lines...make angles.

You put on a vest and helmet and then let me chop you one good time with an axe and we'll see how functional you are :D

Today I was playing alone, and went to the military base north of Kamenka. A friend of mine wanted to play so i decided to change to his server seeing as mine was empty on loots anyway. When i changed server from inside the base my character was lost and I started over again at the coast. I immediately thought of the new patch and it's "critical security" fixes. I tested it out, switched servers a few more times in a few different places. When I switched servers at a place that was no big deal (in the middle of a forest, random small town like pavlovo) nothing happened, character saved, all is good! Next, to further test my theory, I went to the military portion of zeleno and switched to a different server. Character wiped, started over on coast. Is this a security measure for those who hop from military base to military base on different servers? If so, great job! If it's just a bug and my character is going to be getting wiped all the time...then dammit!

Update. today i got on to play again and I was reverted back to my geared character that I lost. My guess is that some servers operate on a different database. Will have to keep better track of servers I play on, and note which ones I can switch off between. Not server hopping, just whatever server I might play for that day.

I saw a comment from rocket stating that if a server is not whitelisted then it won't save your data. also if the server loses connection to the database and you quit it wont save. now i just have to figure out what servers are whitelisted...

got back on and played a few hours, got nice and geared up. was leaving balota when "no message received" came up. got back on, different server because i couldnt remember which server i was on before. character killed. suuuuuuckkk.

Neither Dean Hall, Bohemia, the dayz dev team, or even your grandma tricked you into buying this game. dean even told you not to buy it, he toooollllllddddd you that it was going to be rough for a while. whiners, y u no listen? Y u come here and complain it's not just the way you like it? they told you to not to buy it unless you had an interest in helping with the development of the game. Otherwise, keep your money. But you said SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY. Now you fill forums with complaints because you feel tricked, duped! You weren't duped, you just bought an unfinished game that needed financial support to remain viable. If you want it to be better, just post some constructive criticism on here and the dev team will take it into consideration. I know they will, they already did that shit. They're averaging like a patch per day, do they sleep? In review. What not to do: "this game is shit, it's so much worse than the mod I was expecting so much more dammit dammit dammit whine whine whine I wish I had my $30 back!" What to do: "hello, I noticed that the loot balance is off. I suggest increasing the amount of water bottle spawns in residential areas, man that would make my day." OR: just go away til the game fully releases and enjoy your big ole discount for buying it early. Because your whining means absolutely nothing until release.

It wasn't the character wipe that got me. I mean that definitely got me, killed me so dead. This was after that. This was something curious.

Keep on improving the health system. If the main challenge to this is going to be surviving I want to know exactly how I am doing. I don't want vague representations, I want as much info as possible. Maybe fix some loot issues, I hear that it isn't spawning correctly? I searched the gigantic apartment complex outside of cherno and found nothing but a med kit after searching several huge buildings. The last patch made it much more enjoyable for me, over all I am having a great time just running around and exploring. Thankful I don't seem to have to worry about exhaustion any more.
