Are characters now saved to a specific server? If I go to another server, will my character be reset? If so, can I build up my character on that new server and theoretically play multiple characters from different servers? Any help would be great! Thanks guys!

It's sad that many of the players actually fall into this category - that the whole game of DayZ revolves around this "small" area.

I've been travelling to NEAF and I must say, the last time I was there was the most people I've seen in NEAF. As opposed to when the game first came out, I never saw anyone. If that were to happen, I think it should be the towns inland, not the coastal ones. And only IF the spawns stay on the coast that is.

Instead of them being removed, they should be moved to the north of the map. The only thing I want is for military bases to be something that takes time to get to.

People need to understand that this is DayZ. It's a survival game with a big map. I never saw the point in camping Balota all day. I personally have spent most of my time up north and it's disappointing when I never see any players up there.

I haven't died yet, so I can't confirm. But reading the new changes and complaints on the forums, it appears that the changes are true. Because of this, I have one request to those who strongly disagree with the changes: Please let your sweet, delicious tears drip into a jar and send it to me by mail. PM for my address. Oh, and I hope you get chased by someone with an axe, break a leg, bleed for 30 minutes, and die on the way to Balota. Then respawn at the same spot 50 times, quit and go back to CoD. Hopefully the change will help distribute players all around the map and not have 35 downs out of the 40 players in the server on the west side.

No. I've been playing this game like I'm getting paid to play it. I have two accounts. One with 61 hours played, the other with 65 hours. 126 hours altogether. Very very sad indeed
