Hello fellow survivors out there! I'm tired of wandering around this zombie infected land all alone, so I'm searching for mature players who'd let me join their group. So, me and my friends played on DE24 today on 18.06.2012. At aproximately 00:45 AM (German Time) we were in Stary Sobor at the lake and one of us got shot (with what sounded like a automatic rifle). At that moment i've been in the black house and scared as shit i was looking out of the window. by chance i saw the suppossed murderer and shot him on a hill outside through the window. we went out and up on that hill to see if that was our friend's murderer and right in that time when i was looting that guy (he had a DMR[wasnt our friend shot with fast bursts?], NVG, every available tool, bunch of mags, etc.) the server messaged us it was restarting within a minute. didn't think of any bad until i realised, that the past few minutes will be reversed! so i logged into DE24 again as fast as possible and saw that guy who shot us running away from zombies. i then chased him, but couldn't catch him because he logged out himself behind a tree. long story short: some kiddy with server admin rights restartet the server right after we took revenge on him for our friends death and he was butthurt because we were able to get his great gear. this is REALLY too much of a coincidence. i'm very mad that i didn't manage to get his name or even screenshots (but what would that proof anyway). maybe some DE24 Server Admin will read this and gladly take a look at the server's log files to ban this child because of server admin rights abuse. PS: i will also inform the devs about this admin rights abuse, too.

same problem here. why do hosters remain their servers if it's just plain wrong?

same problem here, every server i connect to that says it's running 1.7.1 keeps telling me my client is 1.7.1 and the server's is 1.7.0 (in a nearly transparent text across my window) and i got no sound as well.

seconded. i like playing at night when you actually can see something. but there's just no chance playing in that total pitch black darkness. i can't even see 10cm ahead.

afaik this game takes place in russia. deal with it.

make it nearly impossible to survive -> cooperation will be essential end of story imho. i'd like to have it like this.

simply: it's too easy with a handgun right at the beginning with many ammo mags. please remove it, it will bring more difficulty and a stronger survival need to this game.

actually it's not pretty difficult to avoid or get rid of zombies. people learn how they behave and how to get loot without triggering them aggro. if there's a horde behind you, just run away or into a building where you can take them out easily. i think we need more and stronger zombies. it's kinda too easy. also, as already mentioned by 2 posters above, there's the disconnect exploit that let's you survive even deadly situations and i guess, and this counts for my behavior 2, avoiding other players as much as possible, because 95% of them will shoot you on sight or even if you helped them. i think the survive rate would be even higher without the "respawn for better location" behavior and cherno/elektro/south coast Deathmatch area

i think i've seen zombie cops at deer stands sometimes. i like the idea of women and children zombie models. this is kinda simulation so... why not? infection won't spare them. for women player models i guess this is gonna get fixed in future updates, we've already been able to choose which gender we wanna play. playable kids, in contrast, i wouldn't include as a feature. seems kinda strange when they'd be able to use some heavy weapons.

i dream about sitting in the middle of the airfield NW and guys are throwing flares at me :\
