Are you kidding? I was on last night and the most populated server in the western hemisphere had 9 people in it!! (Private or Public). It has shrunk CONSIDERABLY, unless there are 40000 servers with 1 person each on it. What kind of game experience is that?!? -

I like being able to go to a set place and gear myself with an AS50, l85, ghillie, every tool, every item, and a car after every reset. Wait....no I don't. Our server has gone from 40-50 players to 4-12. When I filter for all servers with ping under 100, I see hundreds on the list, but only one or two with more than 15 people on it. You're losing the grass roots here Rocket, the only reason anyone knows about this game, and who you are. If you get a standalone out on the timeline that you've set, maybe all will be forgiven. Making your mod unplayable for a month does not serve your testers, or the development process. The only bugs that matter at this point are: - hackers (which you've tried to get rid of, not really your fault) - The inventory/vehicle save issue - Graphic artifacting These three problems are so large that it keeping testers away, and those that remain can't see past them to discover other problems. I hardly play anymore :( -

Attention from devs. Patch to fix vehicle/tent saving issues Get rid of the hackers. Until those three things are done, it's impossible to even consider anything else as they detract so much from the game. -

US 2123 is not saving vehicles correctly. A UAZ came back as a truck after a reset, and some other vehicles disappeared completely :( -

Vehicles are not spawning on new servers, after more than a week. Fix it, or at least make a reply in one of the bug threads.

I've found the threads where people complain about it. What I haven't seen is any DayZ staff member making so much as a 3 word reply. You guys should stop trolling the forums if you're not going to help. edit: Grezvany13 - If you'd used the search function and checked the bug reports, you'd know that people on 1.7.1.4 are having the same issue. Thanks.

I agree. This game is still to easy to survive. Especially once established in a group with tents and vehicles everywhere. -

Is it alright for a server admin to reset at his leisure and then drive around to all of the Heli crash sites, and then repeat? -
It stands to reason that if a player had a map and a tent set up that he would mark the location on that map. Perhaps when a player is killed, the murderer can check the map and see if and where any of his tents were. This would increase the penalty for a long-lived characters' death exponentially.

My basic goal with this is to make death more permanent. I don't like that you can just run back to your tent and get most of your stuff. Maybe have your tent despawn more quickly after death?

Hi Rocket! I'm sure that this is probably an Arma2 feature, but when a player marks a spot on the map, it is visible to all players on that server who have a map.

Have zombies been buffed to break your legs more often? Playing last night, myself and two players played for an hour or so, and were hit a total of maybe 10 or 13 times. All three of us broke bones. Is this a coincidence, or is there a change that has happened?
