Hello all, And I'm just speculating here, but isn't the whole point of an alpha to test, report bugs and suggestion new implementations and give feedback about the current state of the game? Going through these forums I've noticed that each individual who has suggested or given feedback of the game has been flamed and slapped with Rocket's bible. Yes, everyone is aware it's an Alpha. What I don't like seeing is in each thread I've read has had at least a few replies to the OP's rant/suggestion/feedback ending with him being slapped in the face with a "famous" quote by Rocket. "WARNING: THIS GAME IS EARLY ACCESS ALPHA. PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE IT UNLESS YOU WANT TO ACTIVELY SUPPORT DEVELOPMENT OF THE GAME AND ARE PREPARED TO HANDLE WITH SERIOUS ISSUES AND POSSIBLE INTERRUPTIONS OF GAME FUNCTIONING." Yes, we get it. Thanks tips we're aware of that. What each individual is trying to do is report feedback. So, we don't need you're ignorant remarks... take them elsewhere. Futher-more, to each person who reports a bug/fix/suggestion keep it up. And, for the fan-boys.. Keep it in your pants mate, we're all Veterans here.

Not necessarily, what if it we're a group of IRL friends etc. The one thing you need to remember is look at the mod. Epoch amongst others took over vanilla with missions etc and AI.

Whilst reading this thread, you will come to notice that posted above I have stated that it is in your due diligence to avoid said content and let them be buried beneath the important threads. Instead of posting in the tedious and tiresome threads flaming the poster. Let them die, beneath importance.

The sentence itself was quite clear. I'll translate to layman's terms. Sub-forum created = less hassle to search/find legitimate suggestions/question on a general discussion forum. Thus, cleaning the tedious threads and relocating them to a forum where content exist in said threads should be. Understand?

hm, I know I may be stating the obvious. Have you tried running the game as admin from the steam directory? If not, I could assist you remotely (I'm a trust worth source, I currently work in IT) and could help out in some way.

Don't you love it when people will out-right point fingers and make up bullshit allegations/facts to prove a non-existent issue. Rocket, did as he intended to. Development doesn't happen over night, seeing content updates is key. And rocket has delivered. Now, don't think I'm siding here.. but instead of bothering rocket with this bullshit.. Let him code? so these problems are corrected. Or, take a seat, learn some code and start scripting.

Considering the amount of threads posted per minute, usually around the top of "game broken, etc." keeping the forums tidy and clean, and to the specific sections reduces the flamage, and hatred between individuals on the Mantis. But, I haven't thrown aside what your opinion is, rather I'm trying to enlighten you with what is presently going on, and what can be done to fix the problems.

You're oblivious, how wouldn't the implementation of the forums not solve half of the threads posted in the gen discussion forums? General discussion should be an area for questions, and well obviously general discussions on the game etc. Implementing the forums would clean up the cluster fuck in the general forum now.

Willy, you could always just use http://dayzdb.com/map/chernarusplus as a reference to where you "may" be located on the map. The loot spawns may be invalid but it could be helpful to pinpoint where you are and where to go.

Specs seem to be fine, can you check your event logs in administrative tools - under the tree application? See what may be listed there in re of whats happening to the process? the reason why is hanging that is.

And I'm not saying what they said isn't valid. I agree with them entirely. Also, some "newcomers" can essentially be new to the official game forums. (Like myself) but are constantly keep track of development and posts via reddit. /r/dayz

I'm not disagreeing with you, regardless of where you go you will always find inhabiting trolls, idiots or mindless drones. But it's in your (generalizing here, not saying you specifically) ability to decipher what is constructive criticism and what to avoid. Joining in on the flaming isn't the go to solution.

Amen. Anyone who has a mind can and will decipher what threads to read and what deserves their time to read. You see a thread title you don't like? Here's the solution stay out of it. Let them fight, and lets enjoy a game that has been awaited for.
