With the push of 2 pins you can cut an m4 in half..I could carry probably 10 in a large military backpack..so yeah..not terribly realistic.

It's funny how people actually think you can "fix" kill on sight. There's nothing you can reasonably add to this game that is going to make me not kill you the second I see you. I'm broken, I can't be 'fixed". I like many other people, play this game to kill you.

I server hopped 20 times and favorited all the servers that didn't restart my character. I haven't had my character wiped since, and this is coming from a guy who LITERALLY has had his character wiped and on the coast 7 times. Also, my buddy went to a server that was in his history that he had played on like 3 days ago, and it still wiped his character, so don't ever assume no matter how long a server is up that it won't wipe your char. Apparently getting whitelisted takes quite a bit of time. Also your luck is probably better playing on gameservers, vilayer etc. but it isn't a 100% safety garuntee, as when my aforementioned buddy joined a vilayer server his char was wiped.

This is such a common complaint and I just don't understand how people are complaining about balota. I've literally never found anything in balota, even with server hopping because it's completely picked clean every single time.

You mean your 70+year old rifle isn't hitting 1" groups at 500m? You're right so unrealistic.

It's the only thing you can do. I've had my character reset 6 times so far. I love the standalone and I can't wait to play it once this is fixed, but until then I'm going to watch from the sidelines

Good luck, the server hopping is so bad that even when I server hop every military spawn I hit is picked clean.

There's nothing to fix. Despite all the "friendlies" who post on the forums, in reality the vast majority of players play this game to kill other players, myself included.

Known bug, just happened to me for the sixth time. Just gonna have to wait it out. I'm enjoying alpha but I think I'm going to disappear and come back in a week or two when there aren't game breaking bugs.

Yes I know it's alpha, I'm more than happy with the game and am greatly enjoying playing the alpha, but I'm not going to play anymore until I stop losing my character. Every single day I've had my character wiped and has respawned on the coast (twice yesterday). So the game is pretty much unplayable. I'm just wondering if anyone has seen an ETA on the fix or anything?

I'm saying I've had my char wiped every single day, sometimes twice, I know it's a known bug that is effecting a lot of players, I was just wondering if he had an ETA. Now I know that it looks like you can avoid this by staying on the same server so that's good to know.

Wanna know a faster way to gear up than server hopping balota? Sit in the barracks on a 3-4 player server and kill all the people who spawn in. I've literally killed and looted so many bodies in balota on extremely low pop servers that I can't even pick up magazines anymore. Find a wrench, and have fun.

Oh god, I had this happen to me before I thought it was fixed. I have no problem with "alpha" but I don't have a desire to play when I know eventually more than likely I'm going to log in with all my shit gone again.

You do indeed heal over time when your hydration and "energy" levels are full. Therefor there is no dependency on other players.

If you don't have a gun have you considered it might not be the smartest thing to go near a player with a gun?

I'm sure there will be an AK variant with just as many attachments as the M4. The M4 just happened to be out first. I'm sure you're much more likely to find an AK in Russia than an M4, but considering how many M4's are floating around in the world it's not unreasonable to expect to find one just about anywhere.
