I don't know if these are planned for future updates, but there is two things the Mosin 9130 and other future bolt action rifles should have. 1. The ability to load ONE round at a time by pressing R. It would be significantly slower than loading 5 at a time through the inventory screen, but it would be good in a pinch so you could keep an unobstructed view on your target. 2. STRIP CLIPS! Its probably already a work in progress, but the Mosin needs a strip clip. Opening the inventory and dragging the rounds to the gun is clumsy and dangerous as it obstructs your view. If you don't have one, you can use the aforementioned single round chambering mechanic. I don't know, I think it would be cool :D

I've run into two bugs where I am prone. 1) If I am wearing a tactical vest, it clips into my vision. 2) Sometimes when I fire, the bullet his right in front of my face. -

They already do it unintentionally. If you see someone running around in camo with a gas mask and a combat helmet? They are a bandit. -
Love how everyone wears this kinda clothing. Makes it easy to identify who is going to KOS.

As a patient, but hardcore fan of DayZ, I am pleasantly surprised at the progress of the SA. Most of the upcoming features look tantalizing and I have no complaints. But I do have one question concerning the M4A1 and its attachments. Currently, the only thing that you can attach to the underside of the barrel is the bi-pod which, when coupled with the ACOG sight and a clear, grassless view, is a deadly combo. But, what about the other end of the spectrum? There exists a CQB stock and three optics (including the back up ironsights) that suit CQB, but there isn't a foregrip that benefits the shooter in CQB like the bi-pod benefits longer range engagements. I really hope that this is already planned, and maybe even a laser that takes up the flashlight slot? :D Also, is the low draw distance of players going to be fixed? It may not even be a draw distance issue because the scope on the mosin works fine. But I've noticed I can see outlines of... something float around until I am with in under 250 or so metres of it, when it is replaced by a normal player skin. Just wondering.

If anything, they'd be more effective at closer ranges than regular 5.56mm. Instead of passing through the target across the room, they'd be slow enough to completely transfer the bullet's kinetic energy TO to target, and getting lodged inside somewhere causing long term issues if the shooter manages to escape. Could be cool, but I doubt people would want to dilute the complicated medical system with surgery XD

Wow... All you are seeing is a bit of desync. The guy is in the house walking around but the server thinks he is walking further than he is and when it realizes that it he isn't, it throws him back in the house.

As long as you can roll down the window and shoot out of the vehicle, I am ok :D

Is there any way to fix this? I have great ping to the servers I hop on BUT I can't pick up, switch items, or otherwise manipulate anything in the server. I do however seem to take zombie damage and lose blood.

Do we really need stones? I mean, who needs stones to build a campfire? Just firewood. -
Zombie types would be super cool. I am all for a couple of giant tank zombies that are slow but soak up massive amounts of damage and like maybe even zombie dogs that are lightning fast.

Third person cover shooters would ruin this game. I am all for locking it to first person. Third person "peeking" around the corner is an immersion breaking and horribly cheap move. Anyone who intentionally plays in first person with the current set up is putting themselves at SUCH a disadvantage.

So, there are a couple of threads going on about teleporting and spawning weapons and aimbots... the common jump way to soon to convenient conclusions. However, in my 40 hours I have clocked in SA, I haven't experienced anything close to hacks (but a lot of combat logging and ghosting but that is for another day). Same with the 8 or so guys I survive with in any number at one time. Does anyone have any concrete proof that "hacking is rampant in SA"? Because, to me, it looks like the people who are posting these are just sad to have lost their characters. First it was god, then it was aliens, now its hackers.

Thats a well known bug. Punch, then sprinting is basically equal to the turbo bug in the mod.
