Adjust, thats all you can do mate. Im on hardcore, and Ive been looting nwaf and neaf 10-13 times the last 5 days. Havent seen more than 2-3 players. (25-35ppl servers) -

I was there for a few minutes before the server restarted! ;) Logged in, and ran around for a min, while the others logged back. And .. Im dead! :P Ill see where I spawn, and calculate how much time I need to get back! EDIT: Ill be back in 5min. -

Thanks for the update! I can make it on sunday I think! :) Anyhow, will the meeting be held somewhere close to spawn? I will probably have to start from scratch, and I wonder how much time I will need to get there! :) -

Im interested! Could need a few laughs to get me playing this game again. I would probably be kind of fresh spawned. But I have questions. Eastern time? What time zone is that? Do you play on US servers? EDIT: Yay my 100th post! -
Too easy to exploit. What I do want though, is a way to find out how I died (after logging out). Even if its only a message saying wether, it was a zed or a player.

The first embarassing thing that comes to my mind right now, is when I stalked a guy who shot a couple of newspawns. And when I finally have the upper hand, and is close enough (without him noticing me until now) I burst forward with my mosin.. And "click"... I had forgot to reload it.. And so I died.

Can this PC run DayZ Standalone?

I dont get why you bother about specs now. My pc had the top 10% stuff, 4 years ago, and can easily run Dayz SA right now. (It cant run BF4 on max settings, etc) The game isnt optimised to work well with all graphic cards atm, nor is the connection to the game very well done yet. Either. -
Unless they make pink baseball caps armored, I wont have protection on my head! ;)

Make the spawns somewhere in the wilderness, close to the coast, but not only on the coast. Make a newspawn unaware of where he is, until he finds civilization. Imho, spawns should be everywhere along the edges of the map. And maybe rarely in the middle of it.

Afaik, the run speed in the mod was 18km/h. Ive been using that speed to calculate where to run when I respawn after death. And it seems accurate during those circumstances.

Theres no Urals in COD nor Dayz SA!!! OMG COPIED FROM COD!! OMG CRY! :D Seriously though. I dont really see why you are bothered. Attachments is something that always will be worked on. New exciting attachments etc. But I do agree that some attachments should be unique for each weapon, making it a quest to get them for the gun of your choice. No cross over useage.

Just adding some stuff to the item lists, and make them spawn. Could be because they want their spawnrates balanced. One day the suppressor will work. If you loose faith in the "soon-but-not-yet-a-game" because of such a small thing. Im suprised you dont mention the numerous areas, that the Dev team really needs to work on (and are working on) to make the game more enjoyable. Fixing suppressors is not on the top of the list exactly..

Not any food, drink, weapon or tool to open cans with. Lets restrict it to "non storageable clothing". Like hats or similar.

Id imagine that the late alpha/beta could have helicopters, while still being able to server hop. Once the game is released, most servers will be private hives. (or should be) So seing an actually working heli will be rare as f***!

A zombiegame needs flamethrowers imo. I also wonder about the upcoming attachments! Im sure more will come, as new weapons are added!

Havent got hit once since new patch. And Im in middle of cherno atm. Sure they arent exactly balanced atm, but if youve played the mod, then these zombies are nothing in comparison. ADJUST!! LEARN!! Go along...

I play DayZ on both my stationary and laptop. Same steam account = same character. As long as you synch properly, which is done automatically, youll be fine. -

Never, ever. I did quit once though. When I got bored of being chased by 2 bigboys with Baseball bats.. After 20min of running, I just got tired of it. But I was new spawned so.. what the heck!
