Extreme FPS drop yet good computer

I totally fixed it by restarted my computer. I don't know how that helped but it did :D

Extreme FPS drop yet good computer

Well the thing is, I have gone lower on quality and nothing has changed besides how the game looks. I've noticed, though, that the yellow chain in the bottom right-hand corner keeps popping up like I'm going to be disconnected. Maybe that'll help?

Extreme FPS drop yet good computer

I've already tried that and it doesn't seem to affect my game at all. Let me show you my computer stats.... Processor: AMD FX-8350 Eight-Core Processor 4.20 GHz RAM: 16.0 GB System Type: 64-bit Operating System, x64-based processor GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 OS: Windows 8 64-bit
  4. So I've been experiencing these extreme FPS drops that become pretty consistent and drop me down to around 5 fps and I've looked up many solutions yet none seem to work. My computer is pretty good and has ran dayz easily at 30 fps on the highest quality without ANY problems. Its only until recently that this problem has risen to my attention.
