ok lets get real people hes right if u all could get over the fact that dayz is a cool concept you'll see that this game is going nowhere the gun play is for some reason being turned into shit the only real progress zombies have had is that they no longer phase through walls only took a year to put in heli crashes, wonder how long it will take to put in bicycles you guys sit here and say "oh its alpha" but ignore the fact that its been a year and the only things added to this alpha are rag-dolls, a few towns, and a couple guns

thats the one problem this game has and the one problem that the community has is that they want to do NOTHING to fix this they just go "well u shouldnt have been seen by anyone u should have just been in the trees picking berries and living in the north" and no, im not new, ive played this game and the mod for years

i mean u have to study to figure out things in life and if this game is going to be as realistic as some people want it to be, then maybe i would hope not tho

at some point this community is going to have to break from its realism hype and make the game a little more fun i like what breaking point did with its humanity system tbh i cant tell you the number of times i teamed with someone in that game, but in dayz its just shoot shoot shoot... and people are discussing whether or not to have text with walkie talkies? i dont see why it could possibly be a bad thing side chat is a great tool to help make people feel like the server is alive, and can help people group or even hunt down bandits, but only if done right

making a thread just to complain isnt going to solve anything you're better off making a bug report but i can almost guarantee that it has been reported before

i would definitely come make a thread on the forums and hope to get an answer before he wanders off

i like the idea but until things like weather and cold get implimented theres no need to carry things like raincoats or jackets or wellies but yeah that would be cool because clothes do take up a lot of space

i mean of course you arent going to find a person in the middle of no where. the odds of you encountering a person in a random forest in the uppoer portion of the map is very, very small. and the only place you are going to see people are in hotspots or towns

night time is pretty fun and can be really scary when zombies start chasing you i cant speak on servers being night, i havent played in a while, but theres nothing wrong with the darkness

inland isnt the same.... plus nobody else goes there, so theres no room for interaction but occasionally ill head up to nwaf like the good old days
