How the hell do you do that? I've tried right clicking them and there's no option to do so. I picked up a first aid kit and I can't do shit with it, right clicking it does nothing, putting it in my hands doesn't help either. The only way I've managed to stop bleeding before is by finding rags on a dead guy I came across

I've had nothing but frustration, every time I find a weapon there is no ammo to be found anywhere, I'm constantly starving even when eating constantly. There are no fucking bandages anywhere. So my gameplay pretty much goes like this: 1. Fucking god damned night time all the time 2. Performance hasn't improved from the Arma 2 vanilla engine 3. People kill me on sight every time I see them, even if I don't have shit. Even if I find a fucking axe or something unarmed people run up and start punching me just to be little fucking annoying shits. I've had more frustration and annoyance in the standalone than the mod version. Rocket spent all his fucking autistic time working on making clothes look different when laying on the ground and didn't improve anything else.

Wrong. The current 12 hour cycle pretty much means everyone is stuck playing either day or night. Most people only play at a certain time every day, so they are always going to be fucked unless the night/day cycle is 2/4 hours. I know everyone is going to be like "OMG 12 HRS SO REALISTIC" Who gives a fuck? Really? At least a shorter cycle would give people some variability.

Fucking this. God damnit Rocket..this. it's such a simple solution. It makes perfect sense, this is someone a lot of people have been saying since the mod launched yet everyone is still stuck playing in the fucking GMT time zone. It's unfair to people who have jobs and can't play at 3 AM.

IMO when what seems like the majority of players have to jump through hoops to play the game how they want, the developers should take note and fix the problem. The night has been an issue since the mod originally came out and nothing has been done to improve it. They could at least make night time have enough visibility so you can see shit like the Arma games already have vanilla. There's no reason for it to be pitch black like it is. If they are going for realism...you can see at night without a flash light if you have moonlight.

I know we've all been doing this since the beginning of DayZ, so you would think that the development team would make a change. Instead is seems like they would rather fight against what their players want.

What? Some people prefer playing third person, I think it gives more immersion. Because you can see what your gear and your character look like. Also it avoids having to look at this shitty first person textures.

So if that's still the case, that means I would have to play at 2 AM to see daylight...Fuck that.

Ok, I know there are plenty of posts about the long night cycles and what not, but I started playing the game last night at around 9PM CST, of course every server I joined was pitch black, well I decided to play again at 2PM CST and every server is STILL FUCKING PITCH BLACK. This is something that has always pissed me off about Dayz, the only way to play in the daytime was if you didn't have a job and sat on your ass all day. Am I wrong about this? Or is it always night? What are the night cycles if not? Also, who loves having to eat every 2 minutes to keep from passing out? My character passed out from starvation within an hour of playing. If the night cycles are going to be real time, the rate that your character starves should be real time.
