    Try not to approach an armed person in-game, chances are, they'll shoot you. If you have a mic, use it and inform them that you're unarmed and friendly (Of course only if you actually are). ..chances are that they'll still shoot you.

    No sniper rifles currently in-game use thermal and the only one that you can use in conjunction with NV goggles is the DMR.

    Try loading his version of the game up normally so his game key is being used (Combined Operations) and then trying, if you don't have any luck I guess you'll have to re-installed Six Updater.

    I have to somewhat agree regarding the survivalist, although the "PvP" aspect of the game does somewhat keep you on your toes. When the mod was first released it was very much a survival game, avoiding zombies in a group of people whom you didn't know. Once everyone knew their surroundings they turned against other players, I try my best to avoid any contact with anyone who may pose a threat. If that situation was to occur, I'd be the first to react. Remember, this game is still an ALPHA.

    I also use Vilayer, try adding them on Skype. I normally get a near instant response.
