Tested and setting your object quality settings to very high vastly improves this. Still not like the mod though... - Valdark (reddit)

I was testing this the other day with what I think was all graphics settings and I noticed that when looking at other players, at what I would call medium distance when compared to the mod, they are so hard to spot and don't appear as a whole body but rather a bunch of floating dots or one dot. It is hard to explain but they pretty much appear invisible. http://i.imgur.com/aM4zL5e.jpg Above is a screenshot where I a player is stood out in the open on the industrial/factory roof but cannot be seen. Not a great example because of the low quality .jpg but in the standalone compares to the mod players are much harder to be seen and become near invisible at MUCH shorter distances. Anyone? BUMP

The DayZ logo screen/loading screen randomly appears while playing in a server and I can't move or do anything anymore. I must restart the game to fix it but it comes back after x amount of time playing. Seems totally random and only happening since latest patch. To give a bit more details I am playing the game then suddenly the screen changes to a screen showing the DayZ logo (the one that is displayed for a few seconds when joining a game). Will take screenshot next time it happens. Any one else had this/is there a known fix? Thanks
