This shows me that you are just as narrow minded as some Al Quaida Terrorists who thinks blowing himself into pieces with some innocent will bring him to heaven. See the thing is that this game is a Post Apocalyptic Horror survival game... and they have putted real life issues like hunger thirst and vice versa.. Things which actually gives you the need to survive somehow. They implemented weapons into game coz the developers wanted you to be able to defend yourself against the zombie threat which is in every corner in this game world. For you to be able to shoot other players doesn't mean that the game engine is broken, it would be broken IF you weren't able to shoot on people too, because this would totally not be realistic at all... and the main theme of this game is the real life conditions it provides. That said, it still doesn't mean that you should kill people. You know this is the aspect of the game which presents the choice to you to be someone who can be helpful or some douche bag who just has bullshit in his mind. I call those people DOUCHE BAG'S not because they kill people in game. BECAUSE if this scenario would be real, they would try to do everything in their power to gather with other people in order to survive. He/she would not try to kill people for no relevant reason (except self defense), coz he would know that he is totally alone in such a world, and that the other survivors are his only option to live out this chaos without harm. So doing such a thing just because to say " hey its a game he will re spawn somewhere else" is actually just a selfish and kiddish whim and simple mindedness ... you can't ruin the game experience of other people just because you would have fun killing someone which you couldn't do in real life at all. And the other thing is, just to respect other people and their right to play the game and having fun.

1)you just give people more reason to kill scumbags like you on first sight... 2)You kill the opportunity of people helping each other because they expect such shit from those so called "bambi" like you call yourself. 3) you think you're smart coz sneaking to people who chooses to talk to you instead to shoot you on sight, but here's the news... you're a douche bag and that what you do is not smart at all.. its just the abuse of the people's good will. S.T.A.L.K.E.R. is always a good choice. in depth with following game S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Call of pripyat (which is more awesome) For Fallout I only recommend New Vegas... the Fallout 3 wasn't that good. Skyrim and Oblivion series are allways some ace in the arm to play out ;) Don't know if you like to play story oriented games like The Witcher 2 but I recommend The Witcher 2 totally (didn't like the controls of the witcher 1 the story is ok) Castlevania is another story based game... quite interesting.. MASS EFFECT!!!! a Total must to play if you hadn't played yet!!! story awesome, game awesome... I loved the 3rd totally... WE LOVE YOU SHEPARD! :D Of course another awesome game to play is Dragon Age.... If you would like to play adventure games then I totally suggest to play the Monkey Islands series... you will shit your pants laughing :D and sometimes you'll go crazy while trying to solve some riddle's and the list goes on

If they do I am happy.. I am really bored of those so called KOS idiots... you are trying to live out a zombie apocalypse. You wouldn't try to kill everyone you see, you would try to cooperate with them in order to heighten your own surviving chances. I had my suspicions about scopes after the patch, because me and my friends werent able to find any scopes for long time (and we were searching everything in the NE airstrip but still no success) so I did the only thing I really hated all my gaming life along... I did server hopping. Result was; I have spended 8 hours of pure hopping in which I only scanned the places where I was sure no one was there before (easy check on the buildings doors.. mostly the looted area has open doors, secondly checking for idle zombies) after 180 servers of "lootable" hopping I was able to find 2 laser scopes, 2 ACOG for the m4 and 1 PU scope... no Long Range Scope at all... I dont know 180 servers really should be some indicator for it. As I see the things as it is now... scopes have become generally rare items, LRS has become ultra rare...

get a life child... this aint COD of BF4 or any FPS game.. this is a post apocalyptic horror survival game... the main point of this game is not killing people. its to try to stay alive in a hostile environment and the hardships the world brings with it. if you do not understand this easy thing then youre definitely not suited to play this game

Sewing off the handle with the saw would be quite good to implement the function of the saw too... the fire axe would take less slot this way and instead of the slot which the axe occupies another second weapon might be carried... which would be some good alternative for every kind of situation.

To those who even didnt shot with a shotgun once... here take a look at these videos and you will understand what kinda destructive power a shotgun in close range has... someone with the idea of shooting with shotgun at long ranges should try to see the doctor anyway.

Yupp like you mentioned... its a post-apocalyptic survival game so that means actually that the humanity is at the brink of extinction and you as person are one of those unlucky ones who has to survive this whole shit somehow... I think no one in the real world would try to kill people just for the fun or for their backpack when they would realize that those few people actually are the only sanctuary they have in all that chaos.. and they would try to cooperate, and to survive this shit together... the problem in this game is just that it doesn't have any way to prevent people from killing out of nonsense. The disease or the rest of the world does not oppose the real threat right now... and in future people will not try to see it that way too... they will just try to kill others mindlessly for their can of food or whatever... coz they have a sick mindset that this game is about PVP which actually isn't at all...

Well the idea is good meant and with good intention. I will keep that in mind and when I try to contact people in the future I will try to put on the Blue Beret to signalize that I am in deed a friendly person (or I might use a red beret, I like the red much more in fact or the turquoise one? damn I'm confused now) at least this will show that me and my friend are good intended coz a head shot is always easier without helm (although a shot into the face is the same as head shot so the gear didn't actually protect at all....) But don't forget the fact that the people (those dwarf cock sucking bandits) with ill intentions would abuse this matter to get easy kills... Why do people have to be such arses? dunno...

Well I'm not the super modeller but I am working in the 3D branch for several years now... Mostly Im working with 3DS Max but recently I learned to model on Maya too... dunno which program Bohemia uses though but both programs are created by Autodesk and both accept files from each other... I can actually make some military issue buildings... or what is asked for. I am actually totally disappointed in the military base north from Kamenka (that place is everything except a military base)... the buildings there were just a mix of the common known city buildings, and had nothing to do with military issue buildings (I am former military so I know what I am speaking about)... Well its up to the Dev's... but I am expecting something from them now, since Arma 3 is out and bohemia has not much in their hands to do, except making some extra campaign for Arma3 but that can be made with a small group Bohemia does not need the majority of their workers for this.. instead they really should concentrate on Day-Z SA and to get things done as soon as possible... They allready sold 1 mil copies which gives them more than enough funds for the game, that means if necessary they should hire extra personel for this... waiting ANOTHER YEAR to just to get to BETA is really nonsense and not for the summary they piled up till now. (means 39 mil $ thats quite a thing dude) if anyone wants to check how game developing goes just check the game starcitizen and you will see what I am meaning... they had summarised 10 mil so far but they have made a huge progress so far... which means... with almost 40 mil bohemia really should bring out something sooner...

Well after the patch I went for a while with my friends in order to find some decent loot to the NE Airstrip. We had some mosin's, but somehow we weren't able to find any scopes so far... well we said ok that might be... We'll see... we always found at least a PU scope or some Long Range scope at the tower or in the hangars. But when we arrived at the Airstrip we checked but there was nothing... (there were zombies all around, so the places weren't looted and the buildings beside the tower and the hangar was full with loot too) So we said ok it might be that this server hadn't spawned any scopes at this location... so we went on. But after that I came to the NE Airstrip several times in order to check the location and maybe find some long range Scope or PU scope finally. But no chance... we werent even able to find ANY laser optics or ACOG for the M4 either... This made me feel fishy so I decided to do something I am really despising in this game just to test out my thesis... I took my time (about 8 hours) and server hopped non stop at low pop servers, I didn't even bother to search the area when I saw any door open. Result is I hopped about 180 servers or more and just found 2 laser scopes, 2 ACOG, and 1 PU scope and no Long range Scope at all !!!... and that just proved my theory... Well my theory was that the spawn of some loot items were drastically shortened down. We have found shotgun in abundance, we have found m4 in abundance but as I heard from other friends the mosin became a rare loot either.... we have found many magnum revolvers and fnx 45... but the accessory for the fnx 45 was very less (on those 180 jumps I just found on 7 occasions silencer for the pistol, and in just 2 servers the laser optic, but pistol flashlight in abundance) well that actually pissed me off to some degree...

in the mod the ghillie was a skin yea.. but in SA the ghillie will be more like a part of the suite you're wearing (which is better in my opinion) or you can make ghillies with crafting (which is also possible, or should be.)

For the military helmets...hmmm they can add the UN version of the military helmets (Blue helmets) or they can add spec ops helmets (which would be awesome but somehow I think that this wont happen) The damn thing is the developers didnt gave any damn background story to the game. And therefore I dunno exactly what should be in or not... if there are UN forces then there should be some mix of weapons, because there are many countries in the UN forces so it would be a matter of course to see weapons from french, german (Heckler&Koch ;) ), english and so on. Samewise you should be able to have the different camouflage's too like the splatter camo of the germans, and so on. That would really be more interesting.

I never come across at a mosin at the NE airstrip. I mostly found there m4 s though. For the pistols...hmmm mostly there is the magnum one but I dont like it because of its high noise. I like more subtle things and therefore I like to have things with silencer :D You should try your luck with mosin somewhere more south I have come across in berezino some times and other big cities like that... dunno it is somehow random. But Im sure for the mosin not spawning in NE airstrip.
