    Hey fellas, been playing a few hours and realized i am currently deathly ill in DayZ. I have been able to fight off going unconcious with copious amounts of food and water up to now, but am wondering. Has anyone figured out a way to stop being sick?

     

    Symptoms

    -Coughing

    -Wheezing

    -Fading Screen

     

    What I Have Tried

    -Vitamins

    -Bandages

    -Rags

    -Charcoal Tablets

     

    I haven't been able to locate any Antibiotics yet. If anyone has any ideas for what may be a solution to this problem that would be great! I wouldn't want to lose any of the awesome gear I've gathered up to now. Also the "Sick" icon in the Gear screen randomly goes away for some reason, though my character still maintains the symptoms.

    Having the exact same problem. Any help with a fix for this would be awesome.

     

    How did you set it to run in Windowed Mode? Thought this might be a temporary solution, but couldn't find a way to do it.

    I am also running on a laptop. On a 13" Retina Macbook Pro running Windows 8, using a Logitech G700 mouse if it matters.

     

    Specs:

    Processor  2.6 GHz Intel Core i5

    Memory  8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

    Graphics  Intel HD Graphics 4000 1024 MB

    HDD 251 GB Flash Storage SSD (89.63 GB dedicated for Windows 8 partition)

    Hey fellas, loving the standalone so far, but have a pretty major error. My cursor does not appear in any of the menus. Currently using the keyboard to navigate through the main menu, then just kinda guessing where the mouse is based on what highlights while in-game. Anyone else having this problem? 

     

    P.S. Had my first encounter with a fellow survivor this morning, apparently he thought my hatchet wielding motorcycle helmet wearing was scary, and ran off before I could kill him.
