i am having this on vanilla day z one specific server, can't press Enter or f12 It is ridiculous...Simple solution for me don't play on that server, stupid rule. -

Will we ever get an updated roadmap with when the features such as zombie pathfinding will be added that we're waiting for please? They keep saying nav mesh 'is done' but can't even say when it will come to experimental and stable? As the Q/2 , Q3 dates are behind schedule and missed now, have no idea when the features are coming, also you locked a similar thread that was just asking nicely about the Quarter 3 aims, I would have asked there if you didn't lock every thread which asked nicely about when we can expect advertised features to be completed. -
Campfirekit + Sticks + Matches = ignite fire + logs = prolong/bigger fire

I agree there should be two tiers of fire with just using sticks + paper/bandage been the lower tier, maybe it goes out occasionally and can't be relit, then upper tier with the logs is relightable and longer lasting (much like the Forest) -
cool just the actual hit while their moving , i know they can't do that in epoch or origins, but they seem to do it here on vanilla. I was running through elektro didnt stop once and multiple zombies hit me, some in the back, somewhen i crossed a road etc. I dont mind this, it makes them more of a threat, just didnt expect it so will adjust my playstyle. and I look forward to 1.8.2.

I disagree, consequences or humanity type system doesnt work. Its all about the actual danger in the world. Zombies and the environment are not taken seriously, so PVP is common place. Really, the standard in this kind of game should be PVE and a really big zombie threat,. PVP should be a luxury that the majority of us do not have the ammo or firepower for

I have heard this claim a few times but i see no original link, text or reference to this having any truth whatsoever. I believe Z is for Zombies, and these things are zombies, which are infected people. until i see a link or where they wrote this, I think its bullsh*t. -
I agree also a graphic designer and its annoying when games don't come with any instructions or 'tips' even, and then you have many players spamming basic questions on all forums. I used to like reading a game instruction manual, the tips pages, and using the 'notes' section that used to come at the back. Once we're out of alpha/beta, I'd love to see a short training mode , or a local co-op option , to prepare new players for Day Z . Similar to A3 are doing with their new update. It could go through basics such as making a fire, boiling water, bandaging, etc. That new game the Forest has a little survival guide booklet (in game) which is also a cool way of doing it.

Do vanilla day z mod zombies now hit while running? All of these i have tried the zombies seem crazy, they hit me constantly while im sprinting from like 20m away, my character is just loosing health but not bleeding.

yes they changed some system so that theres an overall limit of the zombies. when your on populated server in altis all the zombies will already be spawned on other players. try playing that thirsk map and due to it been smaller the town is hoarded. Anyway the guy banned me so i'll never be able to play it again.:(

Altis is my favourite map, It is fantastic because of the scale of it, it make's vechicles viable including heli's. There are great towns, castles, woodland, beaches, and lots of hills/valleys. To me it is the greatest map Bohemia have ever produced. Hope we can use it in Standalone one day. Breaking Point is indeed an 'easier' mode, with zombies that don't really aggro, excessive weapon spawning, and group based combat. It is closer to Wasteland with zombies, and most of my friends stopped playing it because of the non-stop KOS. theres not much point to collecting a stash, vechicles etc when every server is full and people constantly KOS. The dev's don't understand this and banned me when I asked about private servers... Dead Nation is more challenging because the loot is rare, the zombies hit harder and its much more like Day Z. its actually pretty good but not many people play it. Which is better for me, as I like exploring /looting without constant deathmatch. i don't mind some PVP but it gets over the top in busy day z servers and breaking point. Then we have some new ones in Development- 2017, Arma 3: Epoch and some others. Unfortunately i don't think the new Epoch will even have zombies but some weird 'special infected'.

sounds good when you say it like that, I just hope that it doesn't become an item everyone has in the backpack, it could be a bit annoying people throwing them indoors but I guess they would ruin all the gear anyway

for breaking into a stash or barricaded building? for me personally, it does not fit into the theme and seems very over powered. But we will see, yeah. Also- off topic but had a chuckle at your name- I think they are wasting a ton of money digging up a dead relic and Peter Soulsby is a real noob.(im from leicester.)

Well correct me if i am wrong... but i have been trying to keep a follow of this game and its self destructive community... but throughout these forums and Reddit I see a 'common' opinion that there is far too much guns , ammo and fatal weaponary added already..Probably part of the Alpha process (chuck everything in to check it works?) i thought the masses actually wanted less weapons. I didn't once read anyone ask for a grenade., or launcher. There is probably a whole list of items i could read to you that have been requested more times than a grenade. Also what use is a grenade launcher? The zombies all die from one single bullet to the foot, they dont require explosives. What situation was the grenade launcher added for ? Simply another 'pvp' tool,. and a very dangerous one with the amount of pyschopathic dupers. Please can we have... -Non fatal weaponary -Distractive devices (Firecrackers etc) -More things to encourage co-operation and helping each other, rather than blowing each other up

why the f do we need a grenade launcher? everyone is asking for civilian weaponary, non-fatal takedowns etc. Not big explosives

Hi, i must say i have tried and find the walking zombies too easy. I feel the mod needs a middle ground for their zombies. The sprinters are too fast and annoying, but these slow ones are too pussy. I wish they had a middle 'jogger' or something -

to be honest he makes a good point about BI not providing any servers it would be a bit awkward if this happened to us . Its so annoying having to rely on other players as Admins!!! Sometimes it takes me a long time to find a game because Admins are kicking people constantly!!!

theres one called Deadnation actually, its pretty close to vanilla day z. www.deadnation.eu much less KOS than Breaking Point (BP Is essentially wasteland with zombies)

Once modding is allowed and private servers can be created- Yes There are many things that we could do if you use your imagination. For example: Battle Royale- could be developed into a DAY Z Standalone competitive event Race Events on servers with vechicles Battle events in a set location survival games base raids with a prize AI location on a map with teams fighting over it -

Well we've been having trouble joining a normal server without been kicked, a few of them dont seem to be connected to the hive either. There is a lot of clans with password servers or just kicking people who join, so it is getting a bit annoying, I would support some kind of official set up of servers like i said in another thread, i think there should be some official servers by B.I. that don't have admins resetting them/kicking people or with any command -

4 hour restarts is preferable for me, 2 hours is far too frequent!!!
