  2. Why does it need to happen that way around? to make it easy and not a threat? I'm tired of running around an empty map with pussycat zombies. Bring the pain. Developers, increase zombies x10 please.

Please make zombies scary and dangerous Think like Walking Dead: one Bite, One scratch, is all it takes to become infected. you shouldnt be strolling up to them for the melee hit, should keep distance and head shot. NO THREAT= No Fun. Completely agree with OP BUMP
  4. To the guy who asked: yes they have confirmed it will be moddable eventually. Personally..looking forward to private servers. Sick of the bandits and want to make a little base. I also want to play on an extra hard server like someone else mentioned. One hit kill zombies would be good (and hordes of them) I think zombies should be feared as much as players

Its official forums- here for us to give our Feedback and opinions from the alpha- without abuse and comments like yours I can turn in real life far quicker than the character in Day Z- we know they tried to make it realistic but it simply isn't . I'm a graphic designer but have done my fair share of extreme sports and Have agility- i can swivel my hips and spin almost instantly and there isn't a maximum speed.

    Honestly you put one stupid giff then moan when i answer, then you go back and edit to make yourself look good. I think we all know who the troll is, every single post you make is an aggressive 'go' at someone else. Try been polite and organising your post properly, explain your arguments, and don't run back for a re-edit when you look like a troll. Completely moronic behaviour Jack and I don't take any of your posts seriously because all you do is troll, wind up and never explain properly. I am 28 years old and unlike you I am not blinded by fanboyism and I will speak my mind when I believe these updates have somewhat ceased the last month or so, compared to the earlier activity. What has happened since late Feb I ask again? not much! This is a forum!!! people entitled to give their honest feedback! otherwise the game will turn into an easy mode PVP gun fest, like most of you want All my points strive to make base game more difficult, PVP is boring

  10. Yes agree with OP, more updates that push a harder base game are essential. Some of you guys missed the point., yes zombies increasing would help. But many other aspects of the game also push people towards KOS / bandit play style. For example,. weapons & ammo are too abundant, I think loot in general is far too abundant, especially with loot respawn coming into play, i think all food should be reduced by about 50% , i think water should have the risk of infection unless boiled.. More real zombie hordes. Zombies one single strike should infect you, or bring down to about 50% health. Zombies should be fatal if they scrape or bite. That is a proper walking dead zombie. Theyr too easy to just run up to and whack one time.

Bla bla bla, virtually nothing new or dramatic to note other than the "Zombies: Simple respawn mechanic implemented for zombies, pending more robust method"and i've played Developer build, there was still hardly any zombies

    Same with me, some of my friends think its a joke. I love Day Z , but time to be honest. Lets not beat around the bush, 3 months later and the map is still empty. Theres nothing to do ! The zombies arent challenging. One hit from a fireaxe and its not even a headshot to kill. There supposed to be zombies. theres no challenge. Wheres the apocalypse? Food and drink are common place everywhere you go. Easy peasey. No Challenge. Feels like a walk in the park.

    No, not for about a month, last official post in the updates /annoucements is the one from 3rd week of Feb, its coming upto end of March. Nothing has happened since the one in Feb on experimental where they added new stances/ damage from rain / a few more zombies. Thats been it for ages

    I agree with the OP! Its been 3 months now and we're still running around an empty map with hardly any zombies. Look at Breaking Point (arma 3) mod. There is new updates for that almost every day. Theres about 3 guys making that in their spare time and they ain't getting paid. The mod has zombies everywhere and new maps coverted. Its truely a great mod and is further ahead than Standalone Look at how many copies DAY Z Standalone sold. Over 100,000 or something. Times that by 20. 20 x 100,000= 2 million. With that much money its obvious its not been fed back into the game. At least some of that money should spend hurrying up and employing more staff.
  15. I blame the rise of 'troll' culture and the popularity of doing things simply to annoy others. Its a bad state of affairs when everyone in a Survival Zombie game, shoots on sight. It breaks the game and everything it aims for is bailed into insignificance. At this stage in time Breaking Point does a better job.

    Everyone thinks he's hilarious because of his comical accent and great use of the English language. He is funny! He usually plays in a friendly play style, countless times i have watched him hold up a bandit or tell someone to drop ntheir gun- He very rarely kills on sight. Haters gotta hate
  17. works good in breaking point- zombies spawn in houses then come jogging out the doors ,. In fact breaking point is a good example of 'how to do zombies' in arma

    hes a hiliariously funny guy, who inspired me and many others to TRY day Z . hes a good player, great sense of humour, and is amongst mine and many other's favourite youtube gamers. Frankie is a legend. He is very rare, I would say 10% of players or lower, will try to communicate before shooting. He is a hero in a sea of dirty bandits.

    Might be because persistant items aren't in yet, so dissapears when server restarts. Keeping a note or business card type thing on you is probably better.

If someones new and you want to teach him a lesson, proove that not every person who plays this game is a pre teen with a pyschotic killing streak. give him some food or water and send him along.

Mark my words However i just want to be able to have a password protected super hard server- less loot and guns, more zombies and co-operation Epoch is far far too easy.: I played it the other night and had a vechicle and fully geared in less than an hour

    Well the workshop is coming to Day Z eventually so we will see maps ported. Yes i love breaking point but it doesnt have the personal touch that DAY Z has with regards the character, outfits and customisability. Its rougher in that respect. Laughing Jack you really added nothing to the debate , as you do in all debates, other than attempted to belittle and wind me up which i won't rise to, have seen you troll in many threads already. I expect nothing more of you.

    Lol altis LIFE the worst mod ever made. You have it very badly set up. I can confirm Arma 3 runs way smoother than Day Z or Arma 2 even though it has much better graphics- they have completely re-worked the mouse movement and aiming is much better. Arma 3 Breaking Point ( a game with literally hordes of hundreds of zombies) runs at 60fps even in big cities on my modest PC (i5 4670k and 660 graphics). No drops.I play in High texture settings with 1400 view distance. Day Z however constantly drops to 20-30fps in towns and struggles to hit 60. Altis LIFE is the worst mod for performance comparison - bears no similarity to day z\ standalone and completely rams the map with lots of crap. Arma 3 has had many adjustments and updates so expect to day z to perform as good or better in future. I also agree that they should have used Arma 3 engine or should transfer over regardless of workload it would benefit the game dramatically.
