If you take Amd cpu i would go to 8350 even the game is not fully supported Octa Cores. Also you should consider to take SSD. If you are already decided to take 6300 it still has piledriver cores and its easy to overclock what you should consider. Also Have you consider to take just released FM2+ steamroller cpu? They are cheap even the flagship models since AM3+ is at the end of its line. Im still using FX-8150 it runs the game rather well if you put few lines to startup that the game tries to use all 8 cores. GPU is enough for the game. -

I have run DayZ Mod always from ram disk. Still using in SA and it runs little better than on SSD i tested few weeks ago the effects. FPS increace SSD VS RAM is small 2-3fps but it does make the random stutter go off almost completely.

Hello Is crossfire support coming to the game? Game runs mutch slower without my second HD 6870 card since its on Idle. Was there ever Crossfire & SLI testing making the game since 2013 many people has this kind of hardware. Im also using AMD FX-8150 8core and its not working well even using the launch options what where on Thread few days ago. Im asking this because i want to be part of the developement of this great game. Good Day

I got this info while ago in other thread. But thanks this really increases FPS even it does not run perfectly but its solved for me anyway.

Thank you i managed to get working my Crossfire 2x Asus HD DirectCu 6870 Radeons. My fps is now mutch higher.

I have used RamDisk always from the Mod and now in standalone. Ramdisk increaces few fps but repairs the random stutter. I tested this few days ago the fps increace versus my Kingston SSD Sata 3 was 2fps in Normal Graphical settings. Most urgend fix should be the Crossfire support for DayZ since i can only use 1 card it causing the worst performance losses on my case.

I saw few hours ago a rabbit walking in the road. When i decided to shoot it with Mosin the bullet did not have any effect. Am i missing something? did they be added from some patch or are they always be there. Just being kinda paranoid because some hackers did turn selfs as animals in the mod. I also walked near of that animal it just watched me in the dark spooky :o

There is no support for Crossfire. I have 2 AMD 6870 cards other card is just idling. Welcome to the Club

Many people hop from server to server only to get food & drinks because usually all markets and everything is empty. If the loots dont respawn i dont think its peoples fault to change servers at this state. I have done this few times since my charecter is dying from dehydration and cant go on without drinks. Big cities are almost all empty after few hours of restart. There is no animals to hunt so people try to get canned food and so on from the cities. So people only "live" near big towns to get the basic items to continue game. Server will shrink alot when the loot spawning is working. -
There is not any official answer yet for future of Crossfire & SLI i suppose?
