  1. i am pretty sure rocket did say during a livestream, that cannibalism would make it in. cant be bothered to look it up though, it most probably was in the 2nd stream ( of the two 3hr streams prior to release).

  2. my char was pretty banged up (hit several times by zombies/baseball bats, shot 2 times, nearly starved and fell from a roof). my vision was completely black/grey and woobly. found a well as well as some food while looting an untouched village. it seemed to me i regained some color back, wanted to see if it really worked... the wipe sort of got in the way XD

but so far i think it works, but it seems to be very slow, which would only be logical.

  3. well the country i am living in is not exactly what you would call 3rd world, but before starting to donate i didnt know my bloodtype either.

apart from that that, being uncertain about your blood adds to the expirience. you cannot simple drain blood from a random captive without risking your life. i like that feature a lot.

  4. well my point is, you give people way to much credit.

like in any game, you will find more than enough people who are baffled by the concept of thinking and even more so by acting in a way the situation calls for ;)

but that doesnt rules out some bug messing with dc. will test it this evening with some baddies.

  5. Sometimes I hear other players, I try to talk to them, and they don't respond. I think the feature is bugged.

i think thats the death-globalchat bug. dead people can talk on global chat without even knowing it. quite spooky, now that i think about it

  6. so far did not have an issue which leads me to think its not working.

my guess is, just like in the mod, most people dont care about communication.

-> you see someone = run

-> you got a weapon and see someone = shoot/swing at him

seems to be most peoples pattern. and as these are already quite a few variables for many players theres no resources left, thinking about...mmh... maybe talk to them.

  7. I tried new and old servers, but the new indicators doesn't show up in my inentory. do I have to create a new character or what?

    thanks.

the new indicators only appear after a status has changed. for example, you were hungry before the patch, now it wont show that. it will show you however if you change to being very hungry.

hope you understand what i mean

  8. bikes are pretty much cars codewise. so dont expect them to come anytime soon i would guess. they are no integral part of the game. lets first get the most import stuff like lootbalance, charactersave, overall performance and such out of the way, shall we...

  9. the pz moodlets are really nice. what if you get textupdates like now if any statuschange occurs that would be fading away. While having a permanent iconographic statusindicator in your inventory. this way it would not clutter the hud which is a big plus in my book. i really like the clean hud, much more immersive.

  10. As the title says, i can´t interact with any doors or ladders. in fact they dont even show up as an option (as in the crosshair doesnt change its shape).

was playing yesterday just fine. so to me it seems its either caused by the update today or some hickup on my end.

    anyone else experienced this?

  11. well reading this and comparing it to my experience with loot it seems to work "quite" good.

i scavanged through kamenka and found a bit of everything. so far i have found enough food to keep me and 2 friends alive for a decent while.

so far 45mins of looting 1 village got me a nagant ( albeit no ammo yet), some decent clothing, various tools and a shit ton of food/drinks in good condition.

when everyone is sprinting to cherno or electro expecting to find everything, while 5-10 people already are scavanging said town its quite obvious you wont get what you came for.
