Omg.. Dude if you leave dayz for your own mistake. Shit man dont play ff servers ever. You just gonna quit them aswell. Only people i trust in dayz is people i have in my teamspeak. And then its only just. Sure have some people i have been rolling with for some years in the mod and other games. Trust them to 100%. Again.. Running around cherno being happy survivor greeting people aint gonna work... Welcome to dayz! -
How the f*** did you get 480 rounds in it? When it stores 300.. And as for the box thing. I think its good. Since it organizes inventory. And that i saves storage.If you have 300 bullets lose on a table or in your backpack. Take up more storage then if you organize them into a box doesnt it? And the box doesnt need to be bigger then the slots it can store. Neat and tidy saves the day

Well i agree with both sides. Items do get damaged ofc. Obviously! But if i shot a dude in the chest how can i damage what was in his pants? See the flaw? If i shot the the top of the backpack (ie neck) how could i damage everysingle item init? There is a flaw there, should randomize it so that 1-2 items get completely ruined for every shot

Only found 1 mosin since release. Though will start going thru vehicles. Not found a weapon yet that isnt working, amazed that people have such problems (feeling lucky). Any hints on the long range scope? -

After spending 2 days up north and checking all of the north i headed back south. Intent was to help fresh spawns. I just blantantly got a axe in the back half way there. Not a word or anything, i was all for sharing since i had gotten bored. But killing me.. That just felt assholish -

Well imo that first in the mod gave me headaches. Wrong FoV in the mod. Here in the SA i used the FOV slider and almost exclusively use 1st person. 3rd is more or less only used to peer corners without getting seen. Which imo really take the edge from the game -
I have had other problems aswell. And it occured whilst looking into the european servers. Same map version details as OP stated. I have had characters reset and/or missing gear Such as pants, shoes, backpack and weapons. A relog have either fixed it or wiped. Also not being able to equip items into hands

Server hopping is killing this game FAST

Server hopping isnt the biggest issue IMO. Combat loggers and the fact peoples bodies despawns when they leave the server. You can do a fire fight and win. When looting they just exit the server and you get nothing at all -

I have found apples aswell. And as a side note, rotten food dont allways give you poisoning. I have eaten rotten kiwis as an emergency and was fine. But odds are high to get Foooked on it

Was walking around the balota tent area. Night time. Low pop server. Had my flashlight out. Had little else... Counted six shots with the m4 and i died... Apparently he really wanted my battery.. Other hand, fail kill from my side: Walking around elektro with my kitchen knife. See a dude better geared then me and figured "f**k it" and went after him. Stabbed him once and he enters mini knockout. Stabb another 20 times and he gets up and hits me with the wrench once and im out cold...

I was in a desolate area of the map. Well tricked out so not in the mood to socialize. Someone spawns in and run around shooting buildings, trees and so on. A genuine cowboy on cocain. Shot him in the back. Really didnt want to risk the interaction with someone as trigger happy

Taking out a dude with 1 shot m4 or 1shot m24? Tbh, the m24 and svd i think could be in. Since they are standard military. .50cals dont belong here. But normal military grade. Something that you would expect the troop to have when they fought zombies. And regarding to comment "Wanna snipe go play the mod"... Dude seriously? You that lame you can handle people wanting snipers in a game that is more or less supersnipe friendly? Go play minecraft to you sir

No... No nametags. Gonna need to use skype/teamspeak/ventrilo/or any other voip program to be able to recognize your friends. Kinda like the idea of tag though. Both parties agree and there will be some way for them to tell its the other party up to 150m

Well here is the thing. They got a cash injection now. And it will fund development since BI would be insane to cancel a game that made 10mil$ in alpha. So pretty sure we will see a endgame :D :D :D On the otherhand. Its BI's money now. And they are not obligated to invest further into this project. But as i said. They made alot more money of arma 2 thanks to dean. So end game i belive is guaaranteed -

Silencer not working on M4 Standalone

The silencer function alittle from what ive noticed. Not to much though. Just takes the loudest crack of the shot
