Firstly, welcome! I think the majority of your points most people would for sure agree with. I personally think 150-200 would be way too much but every player has a different mindset on how the game should be. My view is that around 60 players would be good. Trying to loot and survive with 150-200 players would be madness (which some people are into for sure). But with eventual private hives anything is possible! -
I get the same thing. I found if you just keep on trying you'll eventually get in. Usually takes me 6 or 7 tries.

How to survive the first few days of Dayz SA?

I would use the DayZDB map here. You can look up the Russian sign of any town you find and use it to find yourself on the map and get your bearings. Loot EVERY house you see thoroughly as loot is sometimes tricky to find. If possible I'd try and also team up with a fellow fresh spawn if you can and maybe he can give you some tips and help you look for loot. Going north is the best option as said by other people. The coast is generally full of people looking for the same things you are. Best of luck out there :thumbsup: -

Challenge accepted. But I agree. It would be awesome to see them in the game, but maybe only be found in houses that are more out in the wilderness rather then the cities. Perhaps the arrows themselves would be able to be crafted, and depending on the materials you use determines the damage, range, and quality.

Exact same as the mod. It chooses your spawn randomly and you need to run and look for your friends. I think that would be a pretty good idea allowing friends to spawn with each other, but at the same time too easy. Half the fun when I first started playing with friends was trying to find them. If you need help finding your friends, I'd recommend the DayZDB map at least to help you get your bearings and know which town you're in and where you have to go.

I think it's a good idea, but cant see it happening for a long while. Not until they fix some more major issues such as zombies walking through walls/doors. Would love to be able to fortify houses to keep people out, or in.. at least for a short time.

KOS is part of the game, and it would honestly be a worse experience without it. But when 90% of people I run into instantly start shooting at me no matter what kind of gear I have.. It ruins the whole point of the game for me. I'd much rather be robbed, stripped naked, left for dead with nothing, etc. At least I would have a chance at making it, and it would honestly be fun as hell. It's experiences like I just explained that make this game different and more fun than any other game. So for the love of god stop shooting at anything that moves and have some fun with being a REAL bandit.. or stay in Cherno.

I bet he's also the kind of kid to get mad when someone does it to him. Try to explain how a TRUE bandit works. AKA holding people hostage, straight up robbing, handcuffing, stealing the persons blood for later.. There's so much more fun to be had if people don't just instantly shoot at anything that moves! Other then that, tell em to uninstall for the sake of us all. -
I've been alive for a day and a bit now. Mostly died at the start from passing out and not correctly understanding the eating/drinking which lead to death. Oh, and can't forget the people who shoot on sight.
