If there is one thing that should have been learned this year is dont release until its ready. As we watch fallout 76 crash and burn its a lesson that cant be stressed enough. The game is close I will give it that, I do however feel in earlier patches we have had more content. It should be a baseline to keep 1.0 at least with the same content that was featured at the height of dayz alpha. A good example of this is the guns, there already is a mod that more or less brings the guns back (not all completed mind you). I feel the lack of guns really game breaking as it was the thrill of finding that unique gun or a gun better than you had which added to the thrill of looting. It makes the game stale and lack of variety gets old fast. The last thing this game needs is a poor launch after FO76 everyone is watching and if this launch fails it may not get another chance. Your so close to a complete game dont waste the launch when a handful of features are needed to be included/fixed to make the launch great.

Good lord the arrogance some people have. This game is designed to do its best to realistically simulate what a apocalyptic nightmare would be like. Where do so many people get off thinking human nature is nice? Visit some 3rd world war torn countries and you will see that people have very little reason to preserve life. What kind of fantasy do some of you live in? Why keep someone alive if you dont need too. Your here to survive and trusting random people is a huge gamble that is not worth taking. When your starving, scared and lost everything it is our human nature to scratch and claw our way up the food chain. If that means killing people then so be it. I can not speak for anyone here but i will say this, if i was put into this situation in real life i assure you i would rival genocide if that resulted keeping me and my family alive. I would trust family and maybe post apoc friends if i knew them good enough. Beyond that you die. The only thing keeping our society from imploding in on itself is the fear to loose your freedom. Police and law keep order through fear of punishment and judgement. Look at New Orleans in hurricane Katrina, The LA Riots and really the list can go on. This is on such a SMALL scale compared to what Rocket is trying to present to us. Read up on some history that STILL does not rival this situation, take this example http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_Death . When you get killed because you tried to make friends do not cry about it, take this as a learning lesson. People will NEVER be motivated to be friendly unless you wreck the game and remove open world PVP.

My problem is i have 2 sound devices. I use my surround sound for game sounds and i have a USB wireless headset that will only broadcast teamspeak. There is no way yet to tell the game what device to transmit on. I believe Arma 2 had the same lack of function as-well.

Im sure when more weapons are added we will see a more diverse spawn. But with only 2 rifles in the game you cant expect much diversity.

I think so far the best pro i have noticed is that 7.62 ammo is a bit more abundant than 5.56. Most 5.56 ammo i find is only in military areas. I have found 7.62 in every thing from police cars to residential houses. Also since it does not posses a mag it does not take up as much space carrying additional ammo. The downside is i have been unable to figure out how to use the bayonet and i have not found a way to reloading using a hot-key like R.
