I'm really new here guys but I wanted to share my channel with you guys. I have a lot of cool things planned out over the next couple of weeks that I would like to share with some people that actually care about DayZ. Here's my little 2 minute update video of my first night out on the town(of Zelenogorsk). Thank you for your time, and stay tuned for a lot more SA in the future! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sws3xmbQvsY&feature=youtu.be

My Headlight is Badly Damaged, it should still work with a battery though? also, The knockout timer is ridiculous. I passed out from not enough water and have been out for 10 minutes

So is this the beginning of the end for the Dayz mod?
XplicitVoltz replied to Jock McScottish's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
Yes, There's no way that Standalone will completely ruin the servers for the mod(for now at least). There';s no way that everyone is just going to play vanilla DayZ for however long it takes for a full, mostly bug free game to come out. I think the smaller mods like Civilian will suffer(even more) but the bigger mods like Overwatch and Epoch will take a long time to die down. Maybe a year or so. I do see your concern though -
Hey Guys, This is my first post on the DayZ forum but I've played the mod for about a year and bought standalone today. DayZ standalone brings a whole new aspect to the game and I find it really interesting, I have always wanted to do youtube and this game gives me a good foothold for starting off. I played a little bit today but nothing much happened so I just made a small update video right before I got off. All I'm asking is that you give my videos as well as anyone else who posts in this Topic a minute and see what they're all about. I know how cool this community is and I as well as many others would appreciate you guys taking a minute to show some love to all the small youtube channels that have potential make some pretty entertaining videos

Tips on getting more FPS?
XplicitVoltz replied to carbine781 (DayZ)'s topic in New Player Discussion
Try turning down your object detail as well as turning off postprocessing effects. Hope this helps!
