I dont think you are right about that, if someone shoots at you or you are in danger 3rd person camera dont becomes irrelevant, because even then you can run away behind the wall and wait there looking over the wall to see if the guy is chasing you, as soon as you see him for exmpl. runing cross the street to catch up with you, you are in such a big advantage over him even tho he spoted you first. Even if he is on the roof you can still see him over the wall giving you good chance to plan your attack. Before i go further with this, let me just say, am 1st person player, but am not trying to defend eather 1st or 3rd at the moment, just want to point out something for you from my experience, i play dayz since the mod came out, played 1st person, 3rd person and lets just say that we are in the same situation but on first person server, someone shoots at you trough the scope from the roof for exmpl. you run away behind the wall, he is still aiming in your general direction and he knows behind what wall you are, chances that you gona kill him like you would on 3rd person servers are not the same at all, in a matter of fact chances that you are going to die are big, looking from perspective of advantage, not who shoots better or have better aim! The advantages that 3rd person camera gives you are noticable and i just dont like someone telling me that is same as in first person, go first person in a forest with that tall grass all around you and try to spot someone proned , then do it in 3rd person. But after all, i do think that we need 3rd person camera, i like it too, and i play it too

I am not sure you can eat them or not, but i know they make crazy sounds, first time heard that sound in dayz , scared me really good!

I dont want to start multiple posts, better to ask more questions in one. Ok, last few times after defending my self and getting really hurt in a proces, my character is just stucked at healing and never healthy, last time i even reached healing and then got shot again, my char was really hurt cos i was bleeding all the time while i was killing those guys then reached healing again and never got healthy, anyone else? Next one, i carry two weps, last time lost one of those when i used truck, any way to avoid losing weapons or its just at that state now? And the last one, pine trees are ok, but those other trees, some of them got really pixelated somethimes, i know that object details is affetcting those a lot, i got it on normal outside of towns cos i like to keep 60+ fps for smooth gameplay, got it on low in towns, but even on normal those trees looks pixelated. Any way of fixing this or i just need to live with it? Edit: Antialiasing : High, All trees + grass, FXAA normal and HDR on low

Still healing then :) i must say that am in game for last few hours with bright green status, but again, like i said, took multiple shoots, legs and arms, and was bleeding for some time. About weps, was thinking something like that but just wanted to make sure its not me.

Somethimes i think that i know that map way to good, i even suprise my self somethimes when am in the middle of forest, middle of nowhere and i exactly know where i am and where to go. I qs that after some time playing you not gona need to know where is N and where S.

I know its maintance today, 8-11, its 11.35 alredy, am i only one that cant play stable? Cant see any server online...

I was in a barn south-east around 1km from green mountain, idling there eating my dinner and just watching my monitor then someone passed 1m away from the door, scared the shit out of me, i went out of barn 3 seconds later and there was no one there! I was searching around the barn for like 5 minutes and nothing, there was no chance that someone could run that far from barn because there are only meadows there! 044 096

Well something for a change, killing montage that is not in Berezino, not on the east side of the map, no wall peaking. NWAF encounters, hardcore. Most of the players have been spoted me, and tryed to kill me, most of them were in a squad of 2-3ppl. kills are connected i just cutted parts to get short video. I was just doing my job, hunting at NWAF :)

If only i can find a way to solve pixelation, i would upload more, but its going on my nerves, this video is 2gb rendered at best possible settings and still got that pixelation :(

I was hunting at NWAF :) many trophies during that week with a same char. i left my pc for few minutes just to make coffe, when i got back i was dead, zombie has spoted me and killed me (shadowplay recording)

They removed some buldings, they added some industrials, not much, its hot spot now because all of the spawns are on E side of the map

Maybe on empty server, not gona agree with you for full ones, i am at NWAF whole day long, maybe even depends on regular/hardcore i dont know... Edit: But of course, me alone cant see every player that goes there so...who knows

Not really true, i am 12/7 at NWAF, i make 100 rounds around airfield and i see 2 players per day :)

I kill 1-2 players at NWAF per day, somethimes i go to Vybor and i check military base but hardly any players there. If i am lucky i encounter a squad at NWAF so i have a good fight, other then that just loners that dont watch their backs. I am playing on two HC servers that are full most of the day. Maybe if i switch betwen servers more but i tend to play on same server most of the time! So my conclusion, NWAF is dead right now

i5 4670K and GTX 770 OC version, 8gb ram 2.4ghz and SSD even on max settings i got 40+ fps in towns, just tweak your settings a bit, dont let nvidia to optimize game for you

The reason i like cars is when other people have them, true, because back in a mod, people in cars are always the first one that died, i like hearing that sound from the forest runing out on the open and spraying a hell out of their tyres, gladly, jumping out of cars is so slow that i alredy killed 3 while last one presed eject :) So yes, let them add some vehicles, ahhh, good old dayz in mod ...

I got few that are full most of the time but dont have night time, most of the time they got 35-40 players. Scandinavian Allstars, and HFR, look for them
