This is ridiculous. My friend and I were on a "Bad Company" server at the NEAF, and we hear M4 shots. We're in a jail, watching the door and someone walks in and we blast him. Server restarts. This is either EXTREMELY convenient timing for the guy we killed, or he was one of the two BC guys on the server. http://imgur.com/BRiKfKM

I'm guessing it's on the mod version of DayZ, because I don't think there's M24's yet... and you can't choose where you want to spawn and you don't spawn with a weapon since I don't think you can change the server settings like that (because there aren't private hives yet) But I could be wrong - I'm still pretty new to this.

I only have about 14 hours of DayZ: Standalone played - and I still have no idea how to find good military gear... I know how to find my location on the map located here (http://dayzdb.com/map/chernarusplus) but I have no idea where to go to get a decent weapon where no one else will be around (as often, anyways - definitely not going to Balota...) and I'm just struggling, but I guess all newbies are like that. So... any helpful tips?
