What so only people who know where to go can get all the good stuff, dont try with your bull either. I have been playing with two veterans and they showed me things that a new player would not stand a chance of knowing, there needs to be more loot and it needs to be more RANDOM not just the same places. If you want to attract new players to this awesome franchise that is the way to do it, not make it harder for new players and just the same for old players.

So say i start in the swamp wich seems to happen a lot which way do i go to get to the airport, remember north means nothing to me as i dont have map and compass to know which way north is. Thanks in advance

Seriously guys imagine your trying to survive the zombie apocalypse, your starving and can feel your stomach eating away at itself, you come across two cans of beans. But you have no tin opener, will you bash it against a rock, use the end of your torch or stab it with some kind of sharp instrument, No you will go on a MASSIVE fxxxcking quest to find a can opener. I do like this feature though and i can see why they have added it in, so its not too easy.

At the moment i am not having fun on this game, not to say it is not a fun game but i am brand new having never played the mod and i am just getting bored searching the same buildings over and over again for scraps. I have a bag but can not find anything useful to put in it. For example i have been playing for 8 hours and have not found a gun or a bullet, my last two hours i never found one weapon. Everyone on here talks about going to this place and that place but i don't have a clue what they are talking about and i don't have a map or a compass so i can never find it anyway. Where are the guns???? and why is there no map, its unfair for people who do not know the layout and are left running around like headless chickens???????? :(

Disagree with the OP completely, it means a group will have a much harder time keeping each other alive and that it in turn should make the game more balanced.
