See, I'm a total noob to this game.. and I love how frustrating the dark is.. Yes, there needs to be a better balance of daylight too, just not sure how to properly implement this without abandoning people (like the 9-5ers are now) or giving people the choice ( i dont think you should have the choice)

Since when do you roll around town with tuna and soda in your pockets? is this a daily thing? (I'm no advocate for the flashlight either) And you have a hunger indicator? like percentage? bar graph? pie chart? Yes I know when I'm hungry, no I'll never have a precise indicator as when I will die from starvation. The current system is almost as close as you can get, vague at best, with a general indication of what you should do next.

I really am excited to see how it shapes up...just hope it stays down the path its headed.

Not sure what the 'lore' is on this game, or how the whole need to survive came to be. But typically, I only carry my wallet, keys and cell phone (useless likely without a battery charger). So aside from the clothes I'm wearing, I've got nothing. No gun, no bat, no bandages.

Where exactly did I say KoS is deep interaction? If you're instead trying to state that that is all that currently happens in game, I highly suggest you're wrong, at least based on my experience. (and several youtube videos of robberies/ other interactions) Does it happen, yes, but not every time. I've yet to have the same player interaction twice, and I've run into a lot of other players.

weird... I've had mostly the opposite experience. Lots of player interaction so far.. some good, most were violent. Found a fair bit of Zs as well, but not overwhelming at all. As for loot.. I think it's pretty well balanced (aside from the respawn issue). As someone mentioned.. its part of the experience.. I should stress over food as water as much as I should worry about a bandit or a Z. Its a survival game, there should be some risk/reward element to trying to survive.

I've been attacked on sight twice in an hour now.. Beat to a pulp, all while waving hello, and typing in the '/' chat. Does it work? or are people just a-holes?

I like the rarity of guns (haven't found one)... however, i do agree that some casual civ weapons would be nice (and yes, i'll gladly wait a few weeks for them) I can't wait for crafting to be further developed.. I had a bat, some duct tape and a knife...was thinking a knife bat would be pretty intimidating for some robberies. As for the daylight (or lack of) I think that a 2x or 4x realtime would be nice.. that way you're forced to learn both schedules, for their advantages and disadvantages.

So far all bad.. First guy, we both had nothing, spawned in a very well looted town.. he proceeded to punch me to death. Second guy, hit me with a wrench. after I waved hello. Third guy saved me from a Z, then ran around town with me looting until I went to take a drink.. WHAM, hit me with an AXE that I gave him. Nobody is responding to direct com chat (typing). and everyone is murdering me. This is my first day in the game.. still enjoying it.

Yeah.. .Direct Comm isn't doing SH** for my, be nice and polite canadian way.. ran around looting for a good 30 mins with a guy until he clocked me with an axe... that I gave him, after he saved my ass from a Z Is there some kind of secret, hey im really, a no bs, friendly? I'd really hate to have to kill them all.....

Good to hear.. im all for 'surviving'... even if that means someone feels the need to steal my fresh battery. Just was hoping I could talk some sense into people.. or even get robbed, not bludgeoned

its a crazy learning curve.. just put in my first 1.5 hours.. got attacked on sight buy some poo heads..
