Hows about you screw off :) The guy actually approached me.. and that conversation I mimicked was spread over a course of about a minute to where it seemed he may actually help me as I explained my predicament... Was simply sharing my story and not complaining. So don't get all huffy puffy on me biatch..

Right. So. Just to be clear on the exact steps I would take. 1.) Use the guide I provided. "Transfer" your whole HDD to the SSD...... - OS, programs, games and all. (You will essentially have an exact copy of the HDD on the SSD.) 2.) Boot up using the SSD only. Make sure EVERYTHING is working as it should. After this is done. It is safe to plug in your old HHD and reformat. Make that baby new. 3.) Once that is complete. Its time to drag and drop all those programs, games, and files that you want into your newly cleaned HHD! KEY NOTE: After step 1. Make sure to plug in the SSD after the transfer is done. This should be the ONLY drive you have plugged into your PC.. Like I said, make sure everything boots up and functions as it should. You don't want to reformat that HDD and end up losing your whole OS and everything else because the transfer didn't go right. I'm trying to be as clear as possible as I don't want to see something bad happen to your PC and then you come flame to me lol.. Lemme know if you have any questions of the above steps or ANYTHING else PC related. :) I LOVE this kind of stuff. I've got three builds coming up this January for some friends who have some money from tax checks lol.. I'm practically drooling just thinking about getting to mess with some new parts and build some nice systems for them! //edit Come back and let me know how it goes to! I agree with everyone else on taking nice scenic pictures. But I REALLY like your idea of flipping through a bandits or anyone elses camera and seeing what there "Adventures" and exploration has consisted of.. Almost reminds me of like.. the Wolf Pack looking through the crazy pictures at the end of the Hangover movies haha.

lol wut.. dude.. did you even read the OP.. and not just the title?.. doh.. Hmmm, never encountered something like that.. When you build the system make sure to refer to your manual for the MOBO.. there are certain slots you have to put the RAM in.. since your using four sticks, most likely you will fill all of your slots.. but for instance... the two sticks of 4gb will NOT go right next to each other.. Sometimes the channels are actually color coded... May not make sense now.. but you will see... To be safe.. I would put the 4gb sticks in the primary slots! :) So in regards to this. From my understanding of what you are saying. You currently have an HDD with the OS and your programs and games and such. You want to move JUST the OS to the SSD and keep the games and such on the HDD? - If this is the case. Your best bet is to just move the whole darn thing to the SSD and then move the games and such back to the HDD after you have cleaned it. - Only do this if you feel comfortable working with computers. But here is a pretty clear guide to transferring to an SSD from an HDD. http://apcmag.com/how-to-transfer-your-os-to-your-new-ssd-drive.htm - Cleaning the HDD... So this is pretty straight forward. You simply have to format the drive. This will COMPLETELY erase EVERYTHING on it. Soooo, would a kind soul please help me out with the whole health system. I've watched videos or DayZ and all this whole transfusion and morphine and everything. Not sure whats needed and when. HOW DO YOU KNOW!?! lol... I'm mainly interested in the implementation and use of it in the S/A.. Soo.. if someone would take the time to maybe explain the use of each component.. Like.. da fug am I suppose to do with an empty syringe? lol... Thanks! :)

Thanks! Although I have gotten none of these messages? The only one I have seen is a weird taste in my mouth after eating rotten fruit. The "low on blood" bit would have been great to know about 1.5 hours ago haha.. Got hit once and I was knocked unconscious. I then had to respawn :/ I had just found a mosin to go with my frickin 80 rounds I had scavenged. DOH! I had a full med kit with all the supplies to... no blood however..

Absolutely! When I first built mine I was using a roughly 5 year old 750W PSU and the thing ran like a champ! Seems like an odd amount to me for the ram? How, many sticks do you have? And just be sure you will be utilizing dual channel with them. HDD can be switched out later if you chose to. At this point I would just worry about getting the core components. Just make sure you leave yourself with some head room on the PSU.. Which with 650W you should be totally fine. Use this as a reference. It gives a good idea. Just because it says your system only uses 400W (example) give yourself some headroom in the case you decide to add that extra RAM or put in an SSD. Soo, I spawned in and saw the smoke, I then saw a fireball.. Had no idea what it was because it was just over the hill. I crest the hill and see the gas station, I also see a guy laying there dead next to the pump with an axe. Stupid me.. *disregard explosion and smoke* "OOHHH, AN AXE!!"... idiot.. Next thing I know, I about piss myself when the explosion goes off which leaves my ears ringing..... Just had to go for the axe.....

^Tis is true, rounds are loaded individually into an internal magazine or forced in all at once with a stripper clip. I personally would like to see the actual animation of a stripper clip for the Mossin! For some elaboration see this video. Only with a quick fluid animation. Just small details that can be added later :)

So this is from personal experience. But I was always told to not mix parts. What I mean by that is running an intel processor and an AMD graphics card. Like I said, from what I have been told, there is actual performance differences when running a consistent brand in your system. Just from how they are optimized and such. Regarding the actual parts. I don't know squat about Intel lol.. My whole build is AMD. - The R9.. meh.. its the newest and greatest.. so what! Like one of the previous commenters said, go with a previous gen card. The HD 7870 are a great bang for a buck (Go with a 7970 to get that extra V-RAM). Its what I run in my system. I'm running on Very High with little to no lag or issues. Arma/DayZ:SA is just about the only game that I occasionally get hiccups on high settings. - What RAM are you using? - You really don't NEED a CD drive.. I don't use one in my system seeing how practically everything is available through some form of file sharing now. And dont be set on one source, I gernerally shop all form NewEgg, but you can sometimes get stuff cheaper through Amazon or something.

For anyone who may read and not one hundred percent understand. He is talking about manually placing one bullet into the chamber without a magazine. This is something that is 100% possible in R/L and which I do alot of times when practicing quick mag switches. Good idea OP!

You would think that being how complex the weapon system is. This would be a possibility. Chambering one round as a last ditch effort to drop that charging Zed.

So, my health was full, I wasn't bleeding. But my screen was.. white.. it had no color. I got hit once by a zombie and it knocked me unconscious. However, about 10 seconds later, I get my screen back. But my guy is stuck laying down.. and hes slowly sliding forward? It goes in and out of this every about 30 seconds. And now I'm just sitting on an unconscious screen. What happens when I regain consciousness? Is my guy going to be just laying there and I stand up? I ask, just so I am prepared for the horde of Zed that are in the area I died at.. Also, I'm new to arma/dayz.. How do I fix the white screen? Blood transfusion? Eerrrr?? Not real sure how to use the medical system other than bandages. Sorry, lost of stuff in this post. Hope someone can help! Thanks! :)

Just reading this had me wanting to laugh, but then again not. Your one sadistic mofo lol..

Soo I was having this issue. It all of the sudden seemed to stop? Almost every time now I have reloaded my game and came to see a Default character standing there. However, when I load into a server, Im back onto my original geared survivor. I was told however, if you do load in, and your on the beach or wherever. DONT PRESS ANYTHING! Let everything fully load and then press ESC and quit. Reload into a survivor and it supposedly fixes it. Thankfully I havent had to try this method yet. Hope this helps!

I was just playing two hours ago on my desktop. I am now on my laptop and when I load the game. It shows a default character and I can not get a server list. It definitely seems like im having troubles communicating with the DayZ servers. Anyone got a known fix I can try? Thanks!

Not sure if this is a bug or if its something in the game just because its alpha. So twice now, I spend some time playing, scavenging and so on. Both of these instances, I have acquired a gun and some pretty good gear. Both times I then closed my game, one time was not wanted, my game actually crashed. But both times when I load the game back up, the default character is shown and my awesome dude, is gone. Pretty sure this is a bug since yesterday when I was playing and came back. My same character was a still there in the same location. Kinda sad this happened twice now when I find guns :/ lol.. First time I had just a mosin, was jacked about that. Second time, I had - hiking backpack (huge) - rain coat - hunting pants - m4a1 with attachments - handgun - chest holster for handgun - glasses/masks (several) - defibrillator - two medkits - odd assortment of food and liquids - two propane canisters.. er maybe not propane? but something of that nature - matches ........ List keeps going, point is. My guy was loaded lol.. and its all gone :/ I aint even mad though. My two hours of scavenign for that gear was great and I cant wait for it to come out so I can play with friends!! :)
